Yes it is, Allroy. I haven’t even had any and I feel stoned reading all this.

*confused*

Anyway, I’m glad we’re all friends again. The end. (I mean it this time :p)

You know what? I know Michael A (Us North American Therapy? fans have to stick together!) and it’s an insult to see him get shit on about his dedication to the band. If you asked him, “who’s greatest rock band of all time?” He would immediately respond, “F*ckin’ Therapy?!!!!!” I know for a fact that he’s bought atleast 2 copies of Caucasian Psychosis, 2 copies of Shameless, 2 or 3 copies of Semi-Detached (Imports between 20 to 30 dollars a piece) and 7 or 8 copies of Troublegum! As well as every other T? release including the imported Scopophobia and tickets to a concert hundreds of miles away. You wanna talk about support and respect? There it is. Everytime one of us sings along with that T? record and plays it for a friend, that’s saying, “Hey, we support these guys, we believe in them. We’re into what they’re doing. And we do man! Andy, Michel, Neil, we believe in what you sing about, we care about what you have to say, and we whole heartedly support your brand of Rock N’ Roll! We’re just frustrated man, just like you are. Nobody knew that Michael A is pretty much the biggest best American fan you could ask for, just like we didn’t know the bullshit and frustration you were going thru Andy. He just wanted to know what was going on.

Yeah, I know Michael A didn’t lodged his complaint in the most moderate way possible but f*ck we’re not in public relations here, this is Rock N’ Roll. Plus I’ve begun to believe that your intent is more important than how you express yourself. He wanted to voice his frustration. And it’s all us North Americans. Y’know we’re kinda jealous when we hear about all these great shows over in Europe and stories about hanging out and drinking with the band. We want that too, but there’s a huge f*cking swimming pool and a culture of bullshit in between.

Well, the last thing I wanted to do was get into an argument with my musical idols but I didn’t think Micheal A deserved a F*ck U for his years of loyalty to the band. Andy, Micheal for a lot of us you’ve been our rock heroes growing up thru our angry pubescent adolescense and into our dejected adulthood. Maybe we put you up on a pedestal more than you’d like but we love you guys.
Anyway, I’m done
F*ck Me

Nah, I really did deserve the F*CK You I got from Andy. I went swinging at the Gods for all that is rock and got what I deserved. Hopefully the next time we get the chance to see them I can buy the boys a round and settle up in person.

I still love the band. T?s music is a giant portion of my life. That will never change. Its the passion I have for their music that brought all this about, albeit the wrong way.

Sinister and I saw them back in June 2001. They played in a small club called Club Laga in Pittsburgh PA in front of 20 people and they played like they were in a sold out arena. We drove 100 miles to get to the gig and it was damn well worth the trip. That show changed my life forever.

Bottoms up,
Michael

we’re not talking about touring, we’re talking about releasing the album…

and don’t talk to me about touring… there are thousands upon thousands of bands touring right across north american that don’t even have the profile t? does, even if their profile has dropped quite a bit… how do you think most bands start out? if they really wanted to come here, they could… but they don’t… they’d rather do their ‘uk/belgium/holland/maybe one other country’ tour every year like they have from the past 5 years…

and yes i know they were in the states for 12 shows in 2001… i drove 6 hours to see them… and i’ve flown to scotland to see them too… i don’t need anyone here telling me i haven’t put my hard earned dollars or time into this band… if they can’t release the album here, then just tell us instead of leading us on… it sucks the record company might not release it here, it suck even more that t? told us they would look into it and we haven’t heard anything…

i live here in Atlanta and would to see them come over and play since i’ve yet to see them but it’s all about the money and the promotion.I’ve e-mailed them several times about them coming over here and Micheal has gotten back to me several times and every time he says noone has asked them to come over(promoters) so they haven’t come. The label is not supporting them like they should so I think they are pretty much fronting the bill on alot of stuff and to do a tour over here with their own money, renting equipment, booking showsand transportation would kill them financialy.Europe is much easier for them. Now as far as releasing the album over here, they have to find a label that will do it cause Spitfire said they weren’t gonna do it.Maybe we will see it and maybe we won’t.Unless you’re in the music business then you don’t know and you haven’t experienced the music business,it’s not a fun one.If you are and you know how it’s done then let us musicians and bands know how to make it easy for ourselves and tour a country and sell albums in a in and make a great profit with no promotion…
oh yeah I bought the import!

Not to put too fine a point on it
Say I’m the only bee in your bonnet
Make a little birdhouse in your soul

I have a secret to tell
From my electrical well
It’s a simple message and I’m leaving out the whistles and bells
So the room must listen to me
Filibuster vigilantly
My name is blue canary one note* spelled l-i-t-e
My story’s infinite
Like the Longines Symphonette it doesn’t rest

There’s a picture opposite me
Of my primitive ancestry
Which stood on rocky shores and kept the beaches shipwreck free
Though I respect that a lot
I’d be fired if that were my job

Bluebird of friendliness
Like guardian angels its always near

Title: Message for Micheal A

Hi Micheal A,

I’d like to know if a copy (an original one) of NANE would interest you?I’m not kidding you,I’m very serious,I already got mine,I had that copy when we assisted,PanZer and I, at a T? session during “Arthur et les pirates”show on Europe2 radio station. If you don’t believe me,you can ask PanZer.I know it may not warm the political relationships between your country and mine(I’m from France)but if it can help you to get rid of a part of your frustration…I’ll send it to you by mail and take the postal costs for me,don’t worry.Just email me to give me an adress where I can send it.

cheers

Being an American I can share everyone over here’s frustration but… I think the blame needs to be leveled at two places
1) the record company and

2) (most importantly!) the American public. If Americans were buying enough of the CDs the record companies wouldn’t be turning up their noses at releasing anything new.

I do like Mother666s suggestion, of iTunes and similar distribution. Granted it’s always nicer to have the actual thing, but if you can get it on-line it’s better than nothing. And if they sold enough on-line in the US perhaps the record company would reconsider an actual release. Plus how much could it cost the record company to get it listed on those sites. It’s not like they have to physically manufacture the discs and ship them out.

But until then I’ll keep buying from Amazon.uk or wherever else I can.

Also I hope Andy realizes the earlier comments (abuse more like it) were the opinions of the individual poster and not off all American T? in general:)
