@gapu…Fire crackers are pretty good.I use a small Yamaha stage custom(maple) and its just as good if not better.It gives a really punchy snap!!!

Hmmm. I’ve only played a few pearl snare drums in my time, Neil’s freefloating snare when i had my dabue appearance in the flowerpot pub in derby, and a second hand wood snare at queen alexandra college. to tell you the truth, Free floating snare drums are my favourite, But i generally love mapex snares.
