i used to work with a guy who used to work in the car park for the BBC and one night he accidentally locked John Daley in the car park. It was actualy more Daleys fault that he got locked in but he was absoulty fucking pissed off and was giving it the old “Dont you know who i am” shite…
My mate should have said “yeah, thats why i did it!”.

Cool , souldoubt !
If you’re thinking of staying overnight in Dublin and training up to Belfast on Saturday , you’re more then welcome to stay in Casa Cuchulain to avoid the ridiculous prices of hotels over here.
In true rock & roll spirit , just bring me a couple of cans of Jupiler please ;)
Ow , Ronald and DeepSleep did so before you and can vouch for me not being a serial killer.

Still no luck here , but have good faith that some of those The Thrills fans will leave after seeing them and before T? takes the stage.
With a bit of a one-in-one-out policy it should be possible.
Although this is the BBC and you never know.
That CeeBeeBies t-shirt and Blue Peter badge hanging in my closet could come in handy after all…

Title: LaganLive event tickets
Guys
An insider tip off. Its highly unlikely that the event will be at capacity when Therapy? hit the stage as it’s a 5 hour gig and people will be staying for certain acts and leaving. We havent over-allocated tickets so unless 5,000 stay patiently there should be some limited capacity. If you come late there is still a distinct possibility of getting in.
Cheers

It was a lot better than Friday’s. Loads of people down at the front didn’t know what they’d gotten themselves into when “Turn” kicked in!
They played ten year plan this time as well and used a lot of Ministry style samples, I kept expecting them to launch into Hellbelly. Was a good laugh.

Definitly a great laugh. Laya were background music, really. I liked The Revs… not the ‘The’ band I was expecting. The Undertones were a lot of fun, had a great time when they were on. When Teenage Kicks came in, it was awesome. Lots of jumping, a little bit of moshing.
The Thrills were ironicly unthrilling. I was bored senseless with 2 friends, who were at the time talking to some girls. I sat patiently waiting for an end to this tedium. My friend threw a toothbrush a the singer between songs for total randomness, but they didn’t awknoledge it. I thought that at least might have been a laugh, but no such joy. You know that fluff that sometimes forms in the pockets of jeans? That’s better than The Thrills.
But… Therapy?… jesus, it was good. 4th time seeing them, and this was probably the best. The pit was the most intensly fantastic I’d ever been in, so of course the bouncers decided to come stand in the middle of it and ruin it for everyone. They were on top form, truly incredible performers. Some woman was on with them doing 10 year plan… no solo, which is a pity because screwing about vibratoing and sliding all over the fretboard sounds great in that song… ah, well. Utterly fantastic night, maybe over a little too soon, but that’s OK because we went to see Underline straight after, and they are a very impressive band. Great night- sore neck.

those bouncers were lucky they didn’t get a kickin’! that big baldy fucker needed a friggin chain and padlock round the back of the head. he killed the atmosphere for a few songs until everyone just thought fuck him and started doin stupid wee things to piss him off like always making sure you pushed past him to get to the front or when coming back. and there was one wee cheeky git who kept backing in to him. lol.
but yeah, if only t? could’ve been on longer. if you took away all the time baldy twat was talking they could’ve had 30mins more! neil was fuckin excellent. more i see him the more of an absolutely unbelievable drummer i think he is. sound was a bit fucked up on turn i thought. the guitar was too low. seemed to sort it out for the next one but. fuckin great
