Wall of Mouths

I downloaded the single about a month ago and i’ve probably listened to it about twice,it’s just ok but as you said it’s a little dull.It reminded me of U2 in parts.

I saw them headline donnington when limp bizkit pulled out - they were a little dull then.

They are a classic example of a band being less than the sum of its parts… if that makes any sense?

Anyway, they’re crap. In Germany they’re supported by …Trail Of Dead who’ll blow them off the stage.

Cornell is a great singer, but the songs aren’t as good as Soundgarden’s. I think Like a stone is brilliant.

I love Soundgarden and RATM, but Audioslave haven’t really impressed me. They’re playing in Barcelona shortly, but I doubt I’m gonna go.

a bit middle-of-the road for me. They need more fast songs.

You should hear him do it acoustically by himself. Brilliant! I like it much better than the album version.

I’ve got a bootleg of Pearl Jam playing a benefit in Santa Barbara. Chris Cornell played “Like a Stone” and “Can’t Change Me” by himself, then they did a Temple of the Dog reunion. During Hunger Strike he shows he definitely still has the piped to sing those songs live!

I thought the 1st Audioslave album was really good in places, but found it was a little too long and dragged in some sections. Still prefer RATM’s stuff which will always kick ass.

Be yourself is all that you can do <— DAMN RIGHT.

I got the new album today as well and it’s another one to add to the disappointing albums list of 05 so far along with Idlewild,Garbage and Weezer.Although i wasn’t really expecting too much from Audioslave.The album doesn’t seem to go anywhere the best track on it is the bonus track.
Before the album came out in one interview Tom Morello described the album as ferociously rocking but it’s very far from that.At the moment i’d rate the album 6/10 maybe it might grow on me.

I hope not like a fungus but i don’t like the thought of wasting money on an album i don’t like.I’m just thinking now maybe i should have bought Team Sleep instead.

So waht is the general agreement on the new Audioslave album yeah or ney?

Also is the team sleep album good as all the reviews i have seen have been shit?

someone bought me the album, it’s not a bad album but dull does come to mind. I sort of hoped that chris had picked up the guitar and played on the album to make it a bit more interesting i used to love the guitar parts he came up with in soundgarden.

just had another listen one thing that i am pleased about is the fact that tom is starting to do proper guitar solos instead of those fucking horrible noises he did on the last album. It worked and was interesting ti begin with in rage but it just began to piss me off in the end.
