Wanna but up a pic beside my name on the PL message board but I haven’t gotta clue how. Help!

Usually those avatars are not to exceed a certain size. So just make sure your picture is small enough and then upload it.

Well, you can search on the internet (e.g. http://www.avatarpage.de/ )for pictures of an appropriate size or you can downscale a picture on your pc with a programs like IrfanView (any software to edit pictures with should do).
