You need to format the tables and table elements transparent to make the background-color of the body visible.
You can also choose to show a background image, just anything that stylesheets are good for.
The ‘color-code’ ist just the hexadecimal value of the RGB-code, e.g. ffffff for ‘white’ etc. (you find some examples here.
