A new album will be out on July 26th and there’s gonna be a tour as well:

Quote (author unknown):

taken from Bob’s website:
The band lineup for this Fall is complete. As of last week, the band is:

Bob Mould - guitar, vocals
Brendan Canty - drums
Richard Morel - keyboards, vocals
Jason Narducy - bass, vocals

Well, I’m hoping those guys will sing. The tour dates are still being negotiated for North America, but Europe is in place.

Sun Sep 04: Stradbally, Electric Picnic
Tue Sep 06: London, Mean Fiddler
Wed Sep 07: Brussels, Ancienne Belgique
Fri Sep 09: Hamburg, Grunspan
Sat Sep 10: Copenhagen, Amager Bio
Sun Sep 11: Aarhus, Voxhall
Tue Sep 13: Koln, Burgerhaus Stollwerk
Wed Sep 14: Amsterdam, Paradiso

Hell yeah!!!

Add Candy Apple Grey to it and you’re nearly complete.

Everything Falls Apart is maybe the most inetresting one (apart from Zen Arcade) as it marks the transition from the early brutal hardcore to the melodic post-punk stuff.

Shut it grandad,

1) My comment is totally relevant seeing as he claimed he was going to retire from live music for good after ‘The Last Dog and Pony Show’

2) This is a public messageboard. You are not the boss of me.

Thanks for playing.

Ian MacKaye has a new band called The Evens which I only found out about after their tour was over. Sp Fugazi really seems to be put on hold.

Thats a shame as there last album was awesome, I saw them three night in a row when they played london and it was a different set of songs each night bar a few. I would be interested to hear what his new project is like has any thing been released yet?
