Be Cool is an absolute turd-fest and nowhere near as good as Get Shorty. Avoid at all costs.

But The Rock does the People’s Eyebrow 3 times! Okay, I only went to see it because he’s in it but I still thought the film was alright. Not as good as Get Shorty, I grant you.

There’s a film that the Rock stars in, what is it? It’s not The Scorpion King, something else. Anyway, it was in my local DVD shop, I think for £2. Was tempted to buy it and squirrel it away for… someone’s birthday, but I didn’t really feel happy parting with that much cash. :p

The Rock (Dwayne) is starring in the upcoming Doom film. Yes they’ve raped another game that had virtually no plot to begin with.

Walking Tall? Welcome to the Jungle? Neither of which I own, incidentally. Did I mention it’s my birthday next month? What a coincidence.

I thought it had its moments at the start of the film, but it just got annoying. The problem was, for me anyway, the script. Cedric The Entertainer, Vince Vaughn, The Rock and Harvey Keitel are all talented and can be very funny, but the script just left them with really bad jokes and horrible characters. I had high hopes for Andre 3000 too, I’m hoping he’ll be better in that Hendrix biopic if it comes out.

The life Aquatic with Steve Zissou.

Just watched it and its one of the best films I’ve seen in a long time. Nice story, beautifully shot and a great soundtrack.

Go watch it!

Really a different movie, highly enjoyed it. Ossie Davis is great as JFK.

Watching Fletch right now. Classic!

It is absolutely unbelievable that someone spotted that. Hardcore!

The best movie I’ve seen recently is Dead Man’s Shoes. Shockingly violent but darkly comic as well. I think it’s mentioned somewhere in the Therapy? tour diary.

I REALLY want to see the Machinist for all those Lynch / Dostoevsky refs.

Watched Team America last night… fuck yeah! really funny.

I saw the Life Aquatic over the weekend which was cool - I also saw an older film by Wes Anderson called Bottle Rocket which was also great!

Dermot is right, Dead Mans Shoes is a class film - the main guy in that plays a real nutcase!

I don’t know… ever see Skin Deep (I think that’s what it was called, with John Ritter), the scene with the glow in the dark rubbers was hysterical. Image a lightsaber duel with the light off.

No offense, but I thought it was one of the most stupid things I’ve ever seen. Movies like this are the reason the horror genre has such a bad reputation.
