metal is actually quite old, think black sabbath. i still think of stuff like ‘demanufacture’ (fear factory) as being new, when in fact it came out in 1994. hell, it still feels like yesterday when i bought ‘the fragile’ (nine inch nails) and that’s nearly two year old! i still even think of pretty hate machine as new, but that’s becuase i did buy it yesterday, i had to give back the copy i’ve been borrowing all these years. anyway, my point: even stuff from the early nineties is still reasonable new, and also back then remember all this nu metal would have been refered to as ‘heavy metal’ becuase it was the ‘in’ phrase at the time. i hate that word, i prefer simply ‘metal’.
anyway, enough. some of you may have noticed that i’ve not been around lately, and you’d be right, don’t worry, i’m not going to be away for much longer, but i’ll explain that when i’m back properly, hopefully some point next week if all’s well.
