You’re too stupid to pick it up, I’m afraid. :p

Therapy? doesn’t clash with anything apart from 10 mins of slipknot and the MC5 set! That means people can see SOAD and Therapy?
http://www.downloadfestival.co.uk/artist/times.asp
That also means that download goers only have MC5 and T? to see. Might convert people if thats the only thing they can see at that time!

Yeah well…I personally think they shoulda put them on the snickers stage as they would get more playing time but its not that much different..look at slayer, they only get an hour and they are massive in the metal scene

did anyone else spot the glaring error in that article which mr self destruct posted? have a look. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/music/4081526.stm
according to that piece, the isle of wight festival has REM (true) but also the who and the manics. observe:
“The three-day Isle of Wight event sees REM, The Who and the Manic Street Preachers perform.”
and this is the bbc reporting. why do i pay my tv license again?

So how was it in Download? Similar setlist as at the Rabarock fest? Did they play Long Distance? Seems that I won´t never hear that lovely song in a live situation here in scandinavia:(…

Saw therapy? at download last night, thanks to the main stage runing late I could go see T? and make it back in good time for SOAD via the beer tent. Was pleased to see a good turn out for therapy? was worried that no one would show as they clashed with Slipknot. They were excellent as usual, no surprises in the set list really, they played Polar Bear, Perish the Thought and Rock you Monkeys off NANE (I think that was all). Apart from that they played all the usual favourites. Set was too short if anything (is it ever long enough), but they rocked as usual and got a cracking reception.

I was there, second row. Shaved head with the ‘Die Like a motherfucker’ t-shirt on, doing my best not to let the cute Irish girl next to me get crushed (though I’m sure she could hold her own!).
Therapy? kicked arse. God knows why they weren’t on the main stage. I’ve been following Therapy? since Babyteeth, but this was the first time I’d seen them live, and whilst I was expecting them to be great, they were 100X better than great!
Though saying that, I thought they played the tightest and best set all weekend until…I ran over and caught the last 40 minutes of Motorhead!
And if that guy in the Therapy? T-shirt and Iron Maiden cap is reading this, you have a great taste in music, but you’re too damn tall to be standing at the front! I had to keep peering around your head for the first 10 minutes!

Questions for people who saw therapy?
Just out of interest
1.What did it mean when download were explaining what the napster stage would be like (‘An interactive xperience wiith the audience’).
Was it interactive??????
2. Was Therapy? up to capacity seeing as no-one else was really playing at the time?
3.No-one booed them did they?!
Cheers :)

1: I think that was supposed to be the Aftershock tent that was ‘interactive’, though in fact it was pathetic unless you’re a 13 to 16 yr old lad going through puberty.
2: I don’t think they filled the tent, but I wasn’t looking behind me much! Keep in mind that the majority of people there were around 14 to 16 and Slipknot were on at the same time (You should have seen the dirty looks I got walking from the main stage after the first 2 Slipknot songs to ensure I got to the tent 20 minutes early).
3. I didn’t hear any booing, but there was some fat bald bloke and his scraggy looking missus shouting ‘Get your rat out’ to Andy for some reason. I think ‘Get your rat out’ has now taken over from “Timmyyyyyy” at festivals.

These are the ones I can say for certain (when you’re there and moshing, you don’t get chance to note the exact set list, it’s all one big excited blur!)
Potato Junkie
Screamager
Stories
Knives
Isolation
Teethgrinder (Where it kicked off big time!)
I’m still half asleep from all the gits shouting ‘Slayer’ for most of the night and leaving at 6am this morning, but I’m sure the rest will come to me shortly!
Thought I’d got a really great pic of Andy on my cameraphone, but zoom fecked up :(
