Although I would not call myself a fan and I still regret he left Sepultura, the gig was absolutely brilliant
But strangely enough the highlights for me were Territory and Roots

Just got back from Team Sleep. Was allright, but not too exciting. Good to hear Chino’s voice again, but I wouldn’t have gone if it hadn’t been for him. The drummer was something else though.

Not as far as I noticed, but much of it sounded like the slower deftones stuff.
You’ll see :D

Dave played like “let’s play and go”
I’m not satisfied.. This was my third time watching them and again not satisfied!

Ok, havn’t posted in this thread for quite a bit so I’ll just go for the last three gigs:
Yngwie Malmsteen was fucking amazing!!! even though he’s a bit of a dick, although the fact the vocalist announced he was from Motherwell which didn’t go down too well with the Irish crowd
Slayer - business as usual 3rd time seeing them and still on top form! In the Ambassador too, the bouncers weren’t assholes like at Megadeth which helped!
Fantomas - sold out a fairly small venue with practicaly no advertising, decent gig. They are worth seeing but the lack of lyrics kinda pisses you off after a while, although I did meet Buzz Osbourne in the jacks, but never listened to the Melvins so didn’t really appreciate it as much as others would!

Title: Area 4 festival in Oberhausen
It was so good to see Aereogramme again with their first show after a seven month break. :D
Nine Inch Nails were amazing, fanfuckingtastic, System Of A Down were really boring (maybe ‘cos they had to play after NIN) and German bands Beatsteaks, Kettcar and Slut were also very good.
And I wasn’t too impressed by Motörhead and Helmet.

Just got back from Park Pop in De Haag. Was a decent day out.
Got to see a great Killing Joke, Elvis Costello, Fish and some young local bands.
Not quite my music, but still a rocking good day out of sun, beer n reefers. Prost

Really liked Slayer, although I must admit the show in Leuven from last October was still a bit better.

Damn, We got The Thrills and Snow Patrol in Brussels and considered afterwards, the worst setlist of the entire tour. Other gigs lasted 25 songs in stead of our 23 and they played classics like Out Of Control, With Or Without You, The Ocean and Party Girl.
Other great opening acts are Feeder, Razorlight, Kaiser Chiefs, The Killers and Keane.
How was the sound of the opening acts because in Brussels the sound was mixed terribly (on purpose I think).

- THERAPY? (Brilliant as always, first time I heard Perish The Thought and Long Distance live, truly orgasmic.
Maybe it was because I was tired and underfed but I started crying when I heard the opening notes of Long Distance)
- Rilo Kiley (an hour lost but it gave me a very good position for Admiral Freebee and Bloc Party)
- Admiral Freebee (Brilliant Entertainer)
The Dears (Bloc Party wannabes with a sound that referred to The Smiths, not too bad)
Bloc Party (Unbelievable, Out of this world)
- Audioslave (Good enough but nothin earth-moving or shattering, the solo of Like A Stone keeps on blowing me away though)
- Interpol (equally as good as Bloc Party but I stood more in the back so I couldn’t enjoy it as much as Bloc Party, the interaction with the audience was also not optimal and they left out the encores)
- The Tears (As a Suede-fan I was truly disapointed. They didn’t play one Suede-song, I expected Animal Nitrate, Metal Mickey or The Drowners at least. If I wasn’t a completist, I wouldn’t have bought their album in the first place so I expected them to be better live but now I know the album isn’t bad but certainly not excellent)

we were late for T?, we only got to see half a set, but indeed they rocked.
Than walked a bit from here to there, saw and heared a bit of everything. Had a great laugh with the game, what a loser, and managed not to fall a sleep during audioslave (I’m sorry but I only liked spoonman, and bullet in the head, not even their technically their songs)
saw NIN, wow, that’s all i can say. Just great, amazing, I got several goosebump moments.

Got my rock fix instead with a gig by Still Life in The Vaults in Dublin.
To my big disappointment I just missed a support band doing a very good cover of Screamager and was told so by about anyone that I knew
