I couldn’t get a ticket but my friends did, so I’m very upset about the flooding. Honest ;)

Not much of interest to me anyway to be honest. Interpol, New Order, Kasabian, Cooper Temple Clause and The Tears are the only ones I’d especially want to see.

Is this why on the Scopophobia DVD Michael went
“Glastonbury Blugh!” ?

I would imagine by the speed the tickets sold - this will be the first festival experience for a lot of the folk there…

If the BBC decided to broadcast Download, and get the rights from channel 4, I’d be a happy guy.

They could replace Glastonbury with Download, cos that’s music. I’m fed up of hearing these whiny indie bands, I wanna hear some heavy shit!

To me, Glastonbury isn’t very exciting. I thank you.

Yes then they’d show people what a real pit is not just some feeble attempt people were making during the killers set. And the channel 4 program was shit, they only played the popular bands whereas if it was on the BBC it’d be interactive meaning you’d be able to see the bands you wanted not just garbage or only 1 minute of Megadeath

Hooky was the funniest - climbing off stage and doing the rock guitarist thing right in front of the audience. Instead of trying to touch him most of them seemed to be thinking “what’s this old clown up to?” :)

Agreed. Did he do that dancing he does by hopping on one leg and throwing the other around? I hate that. ;)

tonights primal scream show should be interesting. colin and edith just interviewed mani and bobby gillespie on bbc3 and the pair of them were absolutely out of it. on legally prescribed drugs presumably. of course.

actually the three or four songs they’ve just showed by the scream were really good. not as good as brian wilson earlier though.

cripes! after such a promising start it appears that bobby was far too fucked to finish the set. bobby was carted offstage by security after a big unspoken row with mostly mani but seemingly all of the band. blimey.

by saying unspoken i mean that he vented his spleen over the mic to all of glastonbury.
