#

Started by Black Lagoon

Fantastic news!! I got my tickets ages ago and having T? confirmed has made it worth it already.

If you’ve never been before give it ago, it’s a fantastic laid back weekend with beer, bikes bands and filthy filthy sprippers!!

Same here - I go every year, saw Therapy? there before and it fucking made a fantastic weekend, um, fantasticer!

My wife’s not a T? fan, so maybe we could meet up over a few beers and drunkenly holler along with the band whilst my wife smokes herself off the planet by the tent?

Right, having given up on the stinking Download festival. Stupid logistics/child/job interference - I have decided that this is the place to be instead. Who’s with me? :D

The Bollywood Ritz was a class bar but it closed down…mainly because me and my mate Gez were it’s only customers. We need to find a new secret place…

So out of the 25 thousand people going, where will you be hanging out? Who can be ID’d by paint on the leathers? Who’s actually riding a bike there?

Otherwise, anybody care to help out a damn yank? I happen to have holiday then, so I’m going to wander over the pond for the Bulldog. In the states I seem to be one of damn few that’s an actual fan and hasn’t just heard of T?, and I’m interested in meeting a few more.

Actually, I’m hoping to land early AM Monday, pick up a rental bike, and then go and see some sights, in the city and out, I’m still not entirely certain what these are yet, but I’m sure I’ll figure something out. (Suggestions would be appreciated: cool touristy stuff, cooler clubs and pubs)

I’m planning on staying in a hostel and/or camping, but crash space would be greatly appreciated for those first few days before the bulldog or longer (I’ll even pay some rent in beer. :D

If interested, please email me at lexypher@gmail.com or post a reply here.

Thanks,
Lex

I wish you all the luck. I managed to miss everyone at a tiny bar inside a venue at Leeds. Except for my new bestest friend Lemo.

Nope, no searches, you can take as much as you want with you into the campsite (if you keep it under cover). Just don’t try taking it into the main site as an angry Hell’s Angel isn’t a pretty thing!
Last year I think you could buy four cans of larger in there for about £6. The whole festival is excellent, pretty clean and very reasonably priced for everything. Even the lapdancing tent is cheap… so I’m lead to believe!

I’m doing my best to work out getting to this at the moment, my overdraft is screaming “Please Miss Kazza, NOOOOO” at me, but so far I’ve successfully ignored it.

If I go, it’ll only be for the bands on the Friday & Saturday, any ideas whether there are any nearby hotels, as I have no camping stuff whatsoever and can’t afford to buy it all - oh, and I’m a wuss! ;)

if you go to the Bulldog bash you really need to camp thats the whole idea, even better if you ride a motor bike, I have been going now for some years and went to the very first one.I do feel its not how it used to be, but will be going this year on me bike just to see therapy?

Well I’m DEFINITELY not buying a sodding bike for the occasion, but I guess I can maybe stretch to a tent! ;)

i’m in LONDON these days and i really wanted to come…
but i think i’ll get lost in a few minutes…

a few questions for “veterans”

- tickets are available there?
- sure it’s ONLY £45?
- anyone going there from LONDON?
- if yes, can you give a lift? or give some direction to get there by train? or go by train together?
- where can i sleep if i have nothing for camping?? (and not too much money in my pocket)
- can i survive there friday-saturday-sunday morning with £150 (including £45 entrance and train ticket)?

thanx, really hope to come…
