Lemmie (formally) introduce myself…

I’d like to introduce myself. You might remember me as the idiot that started a small firestorm on these boards a few months back, others might remember me less fondly as the @$$hole who started that same firestorm.

Anyway, I first heard T? back in late ‘93 on the soundtrack to the less than stellar flick “Judgement Night”. I liked the track they did with Fatal so I sought out more of their work. Early in ‘94 I found the single for “Die Laughing” at a local pawn shop and picked it up and proceeded to play the hell out of it. I finally tracked down a copy of Troublegum a few months after that and I’ve been a fan ever since. I have all the LP’s (substituting “Caucasion Psychosis” for “Pleasure Death” and “Baby Teeth”) and the Scopophobia DVD and I’m currently working on getting all the individual singles.

I’ve seen the boys live once. Back in ‘01 Sinister Guido and I saw them in Pittsburg PA at Club Laga. There was a standing room only crowd of 20 but T? played it like it was a packed stadium. I hope they make it stateside again.

Anyway, I’m not as big a jerk as my first post here on the WOM would lead you to believe.

Mike

Hello since your first post Rock You Monkeys is on a US compilation and it’s a download double A-side single with Polar Bear, who knows maybe some US label might take an interest now fingers crossed.

So which other bands or artists do you like to listen to?

Good to hear there’s finally some US intrest in T?, hopefully there’s a label out there that will take the chance and release NANE here in the states.

As for other bands I’m into, I listen to Turbonegro, Clutch, The Misfits, Samhain, Danzig, Type O Negative, The 69 Eyes, HIM, Down, CKY, Monster Magnet, Scissor Fight, and more of the like. I branch out into everything I can but I’m mostly into rock, metal and punk.

Hello Michael A! No hard feelings…

I noticed from the other thread that you have excellent taste what comes to music; Turbonegro, The 69 Eyes, HIM.
Did you knew that the last 2 comes from Finland? :D
