They fucking played Long Distance !!!!!!!!!!!
My day could not go wrong from here onwards and Admiral Freebee, Bloc Party, Audioslave and Interpol didn’t let me down. This is definitely the best edition of Werchter I’ve ever been to except 1996 maybe but still, fucking awesome.
Too bad Interpol didn’t return for the (planned) encore to play Obstacle 1 and NYC.

Contrary to other people  , I thought an excellent show from T? and especially a brilliant version of Long Distance
And I thought they got a pretty good reaction for being the first band of the day.
Nice they were also at the Humo stand again :D
Audioslave were booooooooooooooooooooring and NIN is not my kind of thing
Rammstein were pretty ok, although it was the same show as in Dortmund last year so no surprises.
Greetings to all WoMbles we met :)

A very good show, although the setlist was a bit predictable (and too short). But they are there to get interest from new people, and I think they couldn’t have chosen a better setlist to do that.
Setlist was (from memory, so it is probably not complete):
Knives
Teethgrinder
Rock You Monkeys
Long Distance
Stories
Perish The Thought
Isolation
Diane (rock version)
Nowhere
And I heard Rust, Die Laughing and Screamager also, but don’t remember where in the setlist.

The review on Goformusic:
In summary: a very good review and the key message is that they kicked ass

There’s a short interview with T? on the Rock Werchter site (http://www.rockwerchter.be/). Click “On the site”, “Day 3” and then the Movies “gallery 1” on the bottom right.
There’s also some pictures of the concert, but I don’t know how to save them.

That was indeed a great show!!!!!! and I looooove long distance :) It’s good so many people showed up. It’s hard to say but I think there were more people watching T? then Daan who played a couple of hours later… I saw that crowsurfing smurf from real close, he fell down right beside me…
a little critism i heard from someone who saw them ten years ago on werchter: ‘Andy doesn’t jump around anymore as often as he used to do. Ten years ago he was a little bouncing ball on stage.’ ;)
@robby: how could we have not heard the ‘boom’! :D Even Andy heard it, he suddenly looked your way when you shouted.
