Just last month I was at my friends wedding, he lives in London. I’m sure he’s okay, but Bad Karma is right, a lot of Irish people have family or friends in London.

C’mon, this is a poor argument if you’ve seen the people with crowbars aiming at policemen.

I don’t really want to engage in a debate about this. If you want to make flippant remarks about people being blown up, go ahead.

this has nothing to do with being republican/irish, i’m expressing an opinion, yes it’s terrible it was innocent people killed but it always is.
Blair should never have gone to war in the first place and this is the consequence of that. 9/11 happened for the same reason. I hope it hammers home to people you cannot feck around in other countries for financial gain/oil with no reply. I have an aunt and an uncle living in london at the minute so it affects me too. but as i said this is happening for a reason.

One other thing that really, really strikes me is the fact that one of the first things being mentioned is” European stockmarkets going down due to attacks”, this really pisses me off, this whole damn world is about money, money and money…while loads of families are torn apart:mad:

Well you certainly weren’t thinking about your uncle and aunt when you posted Woo Hoo so it can’t have affected you too much.

I was totally against the war but the blowing up of innocent people is completely wrong, and to take satisfaction in it, as you seem to do, marks you out as a complete scumbag.

I heard on the BBC explosive evidence was found at one of the sites,so it’s possible this might be the first suicide bombing in the UK.

Title: Don’t send me flowers cos I’m not dead yet

This is FUCKED UP. I left London yesterday to go home on holiday and I wake up to find this? I’m freaked out. I have friends that get the tube and travel through some of those stations (Edware Road, King’s Cross and Russell Square) every day in the morning. In fact, until recently I travelled through Edgware Road to get to uni all the time.

I can’t get in touch with my all of my friends due to network congestion. I’m getting worried now.

This is messed up. Especially after the last 7 days we’ve had. Live 8, the Pride parade, Wimbledon, winning the bid, and now this?

I don’t think “Woo Hoo” is much of an opinion. Being a smug prick with a “I told you so” approach is not a opinion.
Why do you post such vile comments when you know that most people on this board will just get upset with you?

“A spokesman for Vodafone said emergency services were being given priority access to the mobile phone network which was causing problems for other users”

This is really bad news. However, I think the terrorists have gone for an attack of fear and bringing London to a standstill, rather than for maximum damage. Take for example Madrid and Bali, which held severe fatalities.

This still however makes it no easier for the families who will have to deal with finding out that it is their relatives who have died.

And Tony Blair is right. These terrorists are barbaric. They choose to disrupt a meeting which is trying to help Africans gain a foothold in life, and all they can think about is their own pleasure in dealing us a blow.

God damn terrorists…FUCK!
