avon rose morris guitars

Started by ctrlaltdelete (chris) in Musicians (Gear, Tabs & Lyrics)

just picked one of these from ebay.Its a les paul copy, circa 1960’s-1970’s.Hand made by a shop in London(i think). Black and bound with 2 humbuckers.Anyone heard of these guitars?I read a review of the same guitar on harmony central and the guy gave it 9/10 out of 10.Its gonna be a nice little restoration job over the summer.

I got ripped off.The guy totally forgot to mention half the work that needs doing…the fretboard is off the neck,it looks it was a dogs chew toy for a while, pots need replacing, paintwork is scratched to fuck!the machine heads need replacing and probably the fret wire too…ive spent the entire day patching it up with would filler
