Hey Philly me boy I hardly think playing the top ‘e’ string in the middle of a boring as fuck chord progression counts as a solo. If Oasis learn to play their instruments then maybe people other than twelve year old girls might like them. Noel could learn to play lead guitar instead of just saying he plays lead guitar. PS I think Robbie Williams is much harder than the Gallagher Wanks.

Best Solo’s - The Warning by Black Sabbath
Any Slayer Solo’s

Loose by Therapy?
Rock n Roll by Led Zeppelin
and shit loads of others but odly no oasis…

best guitar solos would have to be:

Led Zeppelin - Since I’ve Been Loving You
Therapy? - Unbeliever
Van Halen - Eruption
ZZ Top - Rough Boy (embarrassingly)
Jane’s Addiction - Three Days
Derek & The Dominoes - Layla
Led Zeppelin - Heartbreaker
Metallica - One

no others initially spring to mind, but I’m sure I’ll think of some
more later.

ERR what are Metallica?!… i hear someone whisper from a corner…what’s that?…Metallica are a bunch of decrepid fuckers, who are sapping the public of their money?…theirs more? go on then!…and Metallica are the biggest bunch of fucking wankers the world has graced us with, and their talent was exahausted years ago, so were their fans. Anyone who opposses this, is obviously very deprived of decent music, and has to follow a main stream of Metal band, because they have NO bollocks to support a band which needs peoples support. Thanx.

I’ve liked all of Lindsey Buckingham’s Fleetwood Mac solos. That guy can be a one-man band sometimes.

Some of my other favorites belong to Brian Setzer, back when he was with the Stray Cats. That could (and still can) play up and down a guitar neck like it’s nothing.

Damn right Setzer rocks. It’s a shame that he switched over from rockabilly to swing—his Stray Cats stuff was incredible. I would give anything to be able to play like him, and to have that gorgeous Gretsch guitar he plays. As it stands now, I can only rip my way through a few Setzer tunes, but I would love to be able to play that great descending riff he uses in ‘Give it to me’.

Besides that their music is pure crap.
If you dont beleive me pick up their early releases. They were glam rockers who failed miserably and turned hard core and heavy.
Pure bullshit. Fuck pantera and everyone who thinks their cool.
