How about Sonne by Rammstein, I reckon they’d rip the arse of that!
Or Been a Son or In Bloom by Nirvana?
Even worse, they could Therapyise (?) I want you back by Take (vomits) That.
Die in The Summertime by the Manics they could do, anything off Holy Bible would suit them perfectly, I can just see a Therapy version of 4st 7lb could you?
Hmmmm…Joy Divisions Closer album, well they did Isolation (and did an awesome job of it), anything from that.
I’ll have a pensive think of some more…
Mark.

Andy once told in an interview that the only guy he ever made friends with on tour was James Dean Bradfield.

First choice would be “Baby Did A Bad Bad Thing” by Chris Isaak (This would absolutely be , eerie guitar playing, Elvis-kinda vocals, drums from silent to not speedmetal but close.)
Runner-up’s are;
Paint It Black by The Rolling Stones
Runaway Boys by Stray Cats (This could be very, very interesting… :p)
I’m A Boy or Tattoo by The Who

I kissed him as … shot him dead
I didn’t like his face or what he said
Saw a movie and I’m finally glad
It sent me skyward, skyward
I say to people asking how much I have
The world slashed its wrists, it’s lying dead
When it found him
It sent me skyward, skyward
Every single day, I feel the same as before
Every single day, I’m feeling just like before
Every single day, I feel it coming down
It sent me skyward, skyward
It took a […] shape […]
Time after time as he closed his eyes
You felt it all just rolling right …
… skyward, skyward
Please fill in the gaps / correct it!
Kissed a man’s feet, then shot him dead
Didn’t like his face or what he said
Saw a movie and I finally cracked
It sent him skyward
Skyward
Sick of people asking how much I have
(I don’t need this world no more)
The world has slashed its wrists, it’s lying dead
(Take away this pain, no more)
My down is bad but my high is worse
You send me skyward
Skyward
Every single day I’m feeling just like before
(Every day is just like before)
Every single day I’m feeling just like before
(You’re shooting up my veins, just like before)
Every single day I feel it coming down
(I’ve got to step back and see where to stop)
You send me skyward
Skyward
It took a hammer to shape his mind
(Take away this pain, no more)
Time after time he closed his eyes
(Take away the pain, no more)
He felt his body trailing all down the years
He fell skyward
Skyward
Skyward
Skyward

Talking about another Joy Division cover, how about they do New Dawn Fades from Unknown Pleasures. If you hear the opening riff from ‘This Ship Sinking’ from NANE, they are both very similer.
The Danzig covers would be great, and how about an Iron Maiden cover, say, Running Free (from Iron Maiden).

Hmmm… why not cover Pixies’ DEBASER? Anyways, someone mentioned Life Of Agony, and I agree that THIS TIME would be an awesome cover!
BTW, how about Elvis’ song called HIS LATEST FLAME? Misfits also covered this one (under name LATEST FLAME), and I bet you’ve all heard the original… Andy would and could perform in his-own-special-way :) Anyways, check out the lyrics:
LATEST FLAME
A very old friend came by today
‘Cause he was telling everyone in town
Of the love that he just found
And Marie’s the name of his latest flame
He talked and talked and I heard him say
That she had the longest blackest hair
The prettiest green eyes anywhere
And Marie’s the name of his latest flame
Though I smiled the tears inside were burning
I wished him luck and then he said goodbye
He was gone but still his words kept returning
What else was there for me to do but cry
Would you believe that yesterday
This girl was in my arms and swore to me
She’d be mine eternally
And Marie’s the name of his latest flame
Though I smiled the tears inside were burning
I wished him luck and then he said goodbye
He was gone but still his words kept returning
What else was there for me to do but cry
Would you believe that yesterday
This girl was in my arms and swore to me
She’d be mine eternally
And Marie’s the name of his latest flame
And Marie’s the name of his latest flame
And Marie’s the name of his latest flame
And Marie’s the name of his latest flame

Heh, it’s a funny thing, now that I mentioned Misfits. There’s a real gem on FAMOUS MONSTERS album, track called “Saturday Night”, an awesome 50’s style laid back ballad, with twisted lyrics, as twisted as they could be, definitely fit for T? (well, at least in their darkest moments) He heh… Anyways, check it out! It doesn’t get any better than this:
SATURDAY NIGHT
There’s 52 ways to murder anyone
One and two are the same
And they both work as well
I’m coming clean for Amy
Julie doesn’t scream as well
And the cops won’t listen all night
And so maybe I’ll be over
Just as soon as I fill them all in
And I can’t remember when I saw her last
We were running around and having a blast
But the backseat of the drive-in is so lonely without you
I know when you’re home
I was thinking about you
There was something I forgot to say
I was crying on a Saturday Night
I was out cruising without you
They were playing our song
Crying on a Saturday Night
As the moon becomes the night time
You go viciously, quietly away
I’m sitting in the bedroom where we used to sit and smoke
cigarettes
Now I’m watching, watching you die-e-e…

Shadowplay it is then, I think this is the most mentioned song yet. There’s a problem though, they already used the solo bit as an intro to one of their songs but the song suits T? as a glove.
