Come and Die was the very first track I had ever heard from T?.That was way back in ‘93. From there I picked up the Die Laughing single, then first of 8 copies of Troublegum that I would eventually buy and the rest is history.
Not the best song ever recorded, but it turned me on to one of the best bands ever, and I ain’t talkin’ ‘bout Fatal there Willis.

Yes, it’s funny to notice that in fact T? were collaborating with an unknown band, unlike other big bands on that soundtrack. It makes me wonder how they ended up on there…? An european band among all the other hot-shots of that time :)

More than likely it was A&M Records and not T? paring them up with Fatal for the track. Then again, I could be wrong.
Anyone know the story on how “Come and Die” came to be?

Fatal only released one single one single besides the “Come And Die” track. The songs were “Pass The Kronz” and “Timber.” They were actually good, they had that early House Of Pain/Cypress Hill sound. I remember back in the early 90’s I saw them live!! =)
They did a show with House Of Pain, Cypress Hill, Funkdoobiest, and The Soul Assassins. Too bad they never put out a full length.
By the way, “Come And Die” is a killer tune!

Thanx for the link! That reminded me (FATAL collaborating with THERAPY?) being somewhat of a rap groove with metal edge, those of you who like that kind of sound, might be interested in JUSTER. I think they were from Chicago, but they also split, unfortunately. They only released an EP titled “I remember that night” and an LP titled “What I see What I think”.
Cheers!

There are other rappers called Fatal (see previous listed links), but the band that collaborated with Therapy? only put out a two-track single in addition to the “Come And Die” track. I used to have the two-track single on tape, an official release, but I’ve never seen that tape for sale anywhere, just a 12” promo of the single with an instrumental track.
Here it is on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4750948124 … 6&rd=1

Time to dig up some old video cassettes. Used to tape some of the Judgment Night videoclips from the old MTV and still have the tape lying around somewhere.
With Ice-T / Slayer and Booyaa T.R.I.B.E if memory serves me correctly and afaik also Helmet / House of Pain.

I remember seeing the boo-yaa tribe / faith no more video on MTV years ago, all I remember from it is Mike Patton screaming his tits off. I love Patton, and thats the best song on the album. I didnt realise Therapy? were on the soundtrack till i got it on the back of the boo ya tribe song. To be honest Come and Die is fairly weak.

Wow! I think Come And Die is excellent. I do agree that Faith No More/Boo Ya Tribe is the best song, though.

I somehow got hold of this and was wondering if anyone else had heard it/who are fatal?

Hey man,
Yeah - I know the song, it was on the Judgement Night soundtrack (featured Dennis Leary in the main role).
The whole soundtrack consisted of rock bands collaborating with rap artists (also had Slayer with Ice-T, Helmet with House of Pain etc.).
Good soundtrack (better than the film) and I liked the T? with Fatal track the best (not sure if it is Fyffe drumming on that track or not).
Have never heard of Fatal before and since.

Weird song though… Not really my sorta thing I must admit, haha. Nu-metal before it kicked off maybe.
