Should Therapy? play Scarborough.. The poll!

#

Started by potatojoe

So there is a big show happening on the 17th September at Scarborough castle and rumours were abound that The Wildhearts, Terrorvision and Therapy? were all meant to be playing, among a few others - which is a pretty stellar lineup to say the least.

Now The Wildhearts and Terrorvision have both been confirmed (http://www.rockinthecastle.co.uk) but on another thread Andy Cairns has been quoted as saying they were approached but have turned it down to rehearse.

What does everyone think?

(Before changing the message boards’ software in August 2007 this discussion contained a poll, which may return in the future)

I’ll be there. That’ll be a five hour drive each way, and the usual discomfort of being in a big crowd. If I can get myself there, so can T? !

Not that I’m piling on the pressure or anything… oh hang on, I am. :-)

Just voted for T? to play.

If they do it will be a day to remember. 2 of the best bands in the world playing the same bill, with THE best live band in the world, the mighty T?

Let’s pray to the gods of rock n roll for this to happen

To see T? added to the bill would just about make it the most amazing bloody line up

Mmmm. Still, their new single sounds a lot better than anything they released from the first album. And The Glitterati have been added, which is somewhat better. The Glitterati toured with The Wildhearts before… and who was the band that played in between? :-)

They’ve just added The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster. The bill just gets better… and it needs that one little push to go from ‘brilliant’ to ‘perfect’…

Well I just had to after reading that :D

as for phone votes - they should rename it ‘idiot tax’ and see who still pays ;)

OK, but just to clarify - this isn’t me, it’s just quoting what Ginger said on a radio station so I can’t clarify whether there was any truth in it or not.

Ginger said on Total Rock that T? weren’t playing the event because they refused to be below Terrorvision on the bill.

A big fat “allegedly” should be inserted at this point in terms of that statement, but I’ve heard the actual interview myself.
