fu manchu king of the road was a good album, but then they brought out California crossing…not bad, but nowhere near as good as say “In search of”, or “Daredevil” or “The Action Is Go”

Q.O.T.S.A- “Lullabyes To Parralyse”- tsk tsk-

I would actually say “Battle of LA”. I’ve never been so disappointed with an album in my life. Evil Empires a classic! (Although you’re right, their first one is far better).

Well, there’s a signigficant drop in standard at all those albums, anyway… wheter the pervious ones were really any good is debatable

By the way, Stereophonics, Bowie and Green Day are in here with the wrong albums.

Stereophonics - J.E.E.P.
Green Day - Insomniac
David Bowie - Let’s Dance

Stereophonics: how on earth is Performance & Cocktails ‘great’? I like about four songs on it, but the rest bore the shite out of me. I’ll admit that JEEP was a gazillion times worse again. Since then they’ve been getting better.
Bowie: I love Let’s Dance. Best 80s pop album by a mile. Can’t stand Earthling. Really generic production, no memorable songs other than Little Wonder.
The Prodigy: I’m probably the only person who prefers AONO to Fat Of The Land, but that’s because Fat Of The Land is my least favourite of theirs. I don’t “get” it, I think. Plus, the breaks are generic as fuck. Sounds like Liam spent loads of time finding vocalists and knocked together some basic tracks in two minutes.

Performance And Cocktails: I love The Bartender And The Thief, Hurry Up And Wait, Pick A Part That’s New, Just Looking, T-Shirt Sun Tan, She Takes Her Clothes Off and the rest is also good at least.

Let’s Dance: I hate 80s pop in general and, therefore, it’s the Bowie albums of the 80s I like least. He got back to good music with Black Tie, White Noise.
But from your taste your decision makes sense though I don’t share it.

Then you have forfeited the right to live.

If I had to pick a Therapy? album for this, it would have to be Shameless. As for other bands:

Dead Kennedys - Frankenchrist (I like it, but it’s not a patch on Plastic Surgery Disasters.)
Faith No More - Album Of The Year (Ditto.)
Wildhearts - Endless Nameless

the only three albums that REALLY let me down in that way (which have all already been mentioned) were “little kix” by mansun, “head music” by suede and “shameless” by some band from Ireland.

also the second audioslave album is absolute wank. the first wasn’t fantastic but…

and also “wild mood swings” by the cure was a huge anti-climax.
