last night i watched the most hilarously over the top splatter gore film i’ve seen for a while. “braindead” the basic premise goes upon the lines of mother gets bitten by a sumatran rat monkey, turns into a zombie, tries to kill people, makes them zombies, priest and nurse zombie have baby zombie, etc etc. top quality stuff with a kiwi accent. i think it’s from the lates 80’s/early 90’s and was directed by peter “lord of the rings” jackson of all people.

i got around to watching bad taste last night. very funny stuff indeed. even though it’s all so obviously pig guts and red paint in that film some of it really is quite disgusting. hammering that sword into the zombie things leg, via his heel. ouch. and when the guys brains keep falling out the hole in his head. lovely.

and of course the most evil one had to have an english accent. because we’re all evil.
