Not long after me and my girlfriend started going out, we started discussing what bands we like. Naturally, I mentioned Therapy?, before adding that their current drummer used to teach drums at our school. Her response? ‘I know, he tought me a few times.’ Damn, I wish I’d been taking drums lessons about three years back…

Flash forward to Download. Me and my girlfriend are on the front row when Therapy? are on. A few days later, I mentioned them, and what does she say? ‘I didn’t realise it was Neil Cooper who was the drummer in Therapy?’ Damn short term memories…

Here in Ireland we have Gaelic football and hurling, and on TV these shows aren’t known to have good taste in music (the average sports nut in Ireland couldn’t give a fuck about good music) but lately, they played Screamager over a highlights package.

If they used this in ‘93 I’d be shocked, but the fact they used this only a couple of months ago! Well, I thought it was incredible.

Typical Irish mentality, 10 years too late :-)

Shit I remember that that was a cool moment for me cause they either play crap dance music or trad

Not so much a weird place, but from an unexpected source. Came into work tonight, and as usual, have a quick look on the net before I log in. I was checking the T? site when when an Argentinean workmate, says ‘Wow, you like THERAPY? too?, I used to listen to them all the time when I lived in the States’. I thought that was pretty cool!

They might play Rise Up in ten years time.

Just the other day on Irish TV I was watching a show for teenage rockbands (Jam was the name of the show I think), but anyway a band came on and played Screamager. After they had finished, they met their ‘mentor’ (ie. a musician that would help them improve) and it turned out to be Graham Hopkins. The show then did a little piece on him and showed some Therapy? clips from the Dublin fan-club show in ‘97.

Kinda cool that a bunch of 16 year olds decided to cover a T? tune on TV, I thought.

So hopefully i made a difference to some ignorant chav scums lives!!!

there’s a music TV channle in Turkiye, called KRAL TV (King TV) (hehehhe). They’re broadcasting awful Turkish Pop music and that kind of stuff. Once, i think it was 1998, one of the VJ’s wore a grey t-shirt with T? logo (Semi Detached style) and “Last Thing I Need Is some Rock Star Bullshit” writing on it.

Very very strange!!!

I remembered it now!!!!

i was in london about 5 years ago for a college trip to new york. we stopped off in london for a day and stayed in a youth hostel called ‘The Generator’ in one of the stairwells there was a poster for Pleasure Death, it must’ve been almost 2 meters high and propperly wallpaper pasted on. i’d only been into therapy for a few months when i saw it, it was the beginning of many great things.

In 1995 i froze in the sofa next to my girfriend at that time when we zapped past the Swedish tv series “nudlar och nollåttor” (noodles and 08:s), the latter refering to the phone prefix for Stockholm numbers.

However, this tv program was shown in two channels simultaneously; in one you could follow the events of the female main character, wheras the second channel followed the male character. At this particular moment when we zapped past, the main characters were at the same party and the song in the background was Auto Surgery. At that time this was the only T? song, except for Totally Random Man, that I did not own on CD, but of course I knew the lyrics and was 100% sure that this was one of the songs I had never heard. Do I have to add that I love the song…?

My girlfriend said: “This sounds like Therapy?”, and my only reaction was: “Hssscchh, it is.”

Another strange thing occured this Halloween when, out of no reason at all happened to say: “Was, meint ihr, will as diesem Kindlein werden?”, and the guy next to me continues: “Gutes oder Böses?”. It soon turned out that he owned some rare bootlegs and promos that I did not, which of course became the topic of that nights discussion with him.

T? - brings people together.

There’s a book out in Ireland called ‘Us’ which is basically a book of photos taken by the Irish public on the 1st of October. It’s a charity book I believe. Anyway, one of the pictures is of a guy holding up a Therapy? sign to the camara. Possibly a Womble? Jobrok? Alan??

Title: Shocking News- Priest loves T? (merged)

I’m a student of NUI Maynooth here in Ireland, the national seminary where Catholic priests are trained over a period of seven years.

I was surprised to see, in the cubicle of one of the toilets in the priests quarters, the word “Therapy?” scraped into the fine pine pannelling. Must have been one hell of an evil priest!

I’m tempted to scribble Hey Satan You Rock beside it…

I saw it last night. Big fan of Seinfeld and I’m watching the re-runs on Paramount2.
So Kramer and Nueman(sp?) go into a record store to sell some old LP’s they’ve gotten and on the shop wall is a giant Nurse poster.

I’ve heard Metallica mentioned in the show before as well. Someone on that show is a rock fan.
