Shamless Self-promotion (with a few T? covers thrown in)

Yeah, I covered some T? songs…

Here’s an acoustic version of Lunacy Booth (an overlooked masterpiece in my opinion) and my own little take on Innocent X… hopefully none of this will break TOO many copyright laws. Actually, they do so don’t tell Universal Studios, the BBC or Therapy?, OK?!

In fact;

Anyway…

Oh, and if they don’t work- I might have left the copyright protection thing on… oops

Well,I think it’s well-maked. Guitar’s sound is not too bad. It’s another ambiance. And Lunacy Booth is a good cover choice.

I think the guitar for innocent X was put into the 4-track clean and then tweaked with some software… the Lunacy Booth one was DI’d from my Dad’s Marshall 50 watt acoustic amp.

Thanks for the compliaments!

Are you english? Because a few years ago, I used to play with some of my friends. I used to play with a Telecaster and a amp Marshall 8080 valvestate. I used to have a very fucking good sound. Sometimes, we used to use some Boss pedal’s effect. But, all of us come from France and I don’t know why, but even if we used to worded harder our english lyric and above all, the english accent. I always think that we could feel the french accent. Sometimes we exaggerated pronounciation. Even if we used to use a little bit of reverb.
And about you, I think your record sounds well. Your guitar sound is clean. You just ought to work once more the song. Just for posing environment well. But it is already very well. You’ve done it. You had courage to do it and it’s very very cool. Go on. That’s all.
(Working french lyrics as better as possible is very very difficult - just to do something of excellent, brillant. Just to nothing to have to throw, to regret).
It’s a job. It’s a pleasure. It’s cool. What a satisfaction when you end this kind of artistical expression, and you are emptied. ;) :cool:

Yeah, it means you’ve had too many people download your songs for one day.

According the the error message I got you can upgrade to a premium account so more people can access it each day but sounds like a bit of a swizz so…

“As soon as the total downloads from this account over a 24 hour period drops below the accounts limit, downloads will be restored.”

I’d take everything off the site for 24 hours and then put them back up, see if that does it :)

Have you ever meet them ? If you’ve the chance to frequency see them, give them my ‘Hello’ please. We already had some conversations about french writers. So, “we know ourselves, just a little bit”, but for myself, it was a good memorie.
Thx

I’ve met Andy once, Michael was there too, but we just exchanged nods. The don’t live here anymore, so don’t get to see them about. Plenty of people seem to know them personally, though and there’s lots of odd connections come up.

Oh and Hooch, I’ll take those off and put them back up again and see how it goes. Till then… try this alternate URL;

Actually, I think if you just wait for 24 hours it might work…

Hi Hoochalobster,
What do you think about his cover ?
Don’t you think it’s nice?
His cover sounds well, doesn’t it?

Sincerely ?

That’s a bit weird.. try the right-click save as thing…

If it doesn’t work, I could mail them to you, if you like.

Interzone, of course you can use these. Just don’t let the copyright lawyers find out about it!;)

Lunacy Booth is very clean,nearly too clean other then that its very good but on both tracks the volume of the vocals should be louder did you record them on a fourtrack or something else.

I’m maybe a little over-concious about my voice… but I liked the vocals to be low, to make them blend in more… and yeah, it’s clean. It’s acoustic! Innocnet X should make up for it, though, right?

I recorded them on a four-track, yeah. Digital Boss 30…something or other.

Thanks for the comments.
