Whilst I was putting another entry on another thread, and having Glen Benton’s voice go round my head after hearing some tracks on the Roadrunner Allstars album, I’m just wondering who’s got a favorate Roadrunner release.

I’ve got a few, here goes:

Life of Agony - River Runs Red
Mercyful Fate - Melisa
King Diamond - Them
Obituary - Cause of Death
Deicide - Deicide
Sepultura - Beneath the Remains
Sepultura - Chaos AD
Black Train Jack - No Reward
Machine Head - Burn My Eyes
Fear Factory - Soul of a New Machine
Fear Factory - Demanufacture
Slipknot - Slipknot
Dog Eat Dog - No Fronts (I’m not ashamed)
Biohazard - Urban Disicipline
Pro - Pain - Foul Taste of Freedom

Type O Negative - Bloody Kisses / October Rust
Fear Factory - Demanufacture
Machine Head - Burn My Eyes
Life Of Agony - River Runs Red / Ugly
Glassjaw - Everything You Ever Wanted To Know…

And now their releasing ‘Roots’ and ‘Coal Chamber’ for the third time. Isn’t it about time they re-released albums that didn’t get full attention first time around (I can name a few)?

Ahem… I think you’ll find it’s the Foreign Objects re-release (because the band released the rigional versions on their own, or with some indie label).

The Best of Malevolent Creation is good, too.

Shit, I had forgotten this band till you mentioned them. They supported T? in November 1994. I thought they were good but never got round to buying the album.

One more Roadrunner albums too add to my list:

Believer - Sanity Obscure, a lost classic in my book.

To “celebrate” their 25th anniversary, they will release a couple of albums again, this time including a DVD… fucking bastards

Among those: Fear Factory’s Demanufacture and Sepultura’s Roots (yes AGAIN)…

it’s alright the roots one has a cd with nothing you wouldn’t already have and the fear factory one is just the remix album as a second cd:)

Another thing i don’t like about Roadrunner is how when they don’t support their own bands i’ll give a couple of examples Downer were a very good band and Roadrunner wouldn’t pay their tour support so they split up.They did fuck all for AMEN and as soon as Virgin signed them Roadrunner re-released their self-titled album to cash in on them.Oh and they release Nickelback albums.
