Right - Time to clean up the streets!

Inspired by the ‘Buy Ville a Cardigan Campaing’ - us good folk of the board can all join forces to sort out rock. But where do we start?

Turn of Ozzy’s life support. OK, maybe not literally, but his career life support machine. It seems they roll out the moneymaker for the Ozzfest and the poor bloke just wants to stay home and watch the cookery channel.

I voted for “Pledge Danzig a corset”, I have seen the man live and have to say that he’s not a pretty sight…

I don’t mind seeing Ville’s tits on every magazine, as don’t read much Kerrang and Metal Hammer and I can always look recordcovers if I wanted a “turn-on” ;)

Oh, nice to see Gav that you can actually spell Ville’s name right. That seems to be extremely hard for non-finns.

Um…what do you mean “ANOTHER original idea for Korn”…?!

Some bands inspire kids to go out and buy guitars and give it a go themselves.

Thankfully Korn weren’t around when I was an impressionable teen myself, I’d have gone straight out and bought a Teach-Yourself-Knitting book and never listened to music again for life.

:p

I still remember a letter that was in a guitar magazine years ago (mid nineties). Some kid was thanking the mag for doing an article on Silverchair. The letter went something like this: ‘Thanks for your article on Silverchair a few months ago. I’ve been playing guitar for a few years and not been doing too well, but thanks to you I’ve started listening to Silverchair, and now everything I play is fantastic!’

:D I still can’t decide if the thanks were supposed to be genuine (but arrogant), or simply sarcastic. ;)

You tell me myspace friend… Looking through various message boards and the way his name is spelled, made me think that it is hard to write to some people. It’s good that other members of the band has “stage-names” like “Mige Amour”, “Gas Lipstick” and “Lily Lazer” instead of Mikko Paananen, Mika Karppinen and Mikko Lindström. :p

its gotta be the ozzy option. Silly old fool! Why does everyone think he’s the coolest Rock god?? He was, about 35 years ago. Then he made crap whilst sporting a perm and now he stars in reality tv with his ugly disfunctional family. Lemmy is way cooler and more rock than that shaky old bag of bones!

Oh yeah, anyone hear his voice on Paranoid on tv last night if you want proof that he has no talent anymore either? Lets finish him!!

True, the crowd applauded just ‘cos he’s Ozzy from the famous TV show. His performance on Crazy Train and Paranoid were very suspect. Just ‘cos he said ‘fuck’ 20 times doesn’t make him cool.
