They could definitely do with Lars maybe taking some lessons. I saw them with Joey from Slipknot and Dave Lombardo at last years Donnington and it was pretty fucking good hearing a real drummer play with them.

yeah i do mean MK, i just didn’t think they played that well, maybe i was a bit harsh saying shit but i was disappionted. The best times i had seen them was MK 1993, birmingham 1996 and download 2003 when they played a surprise gig:D
lars just can’t keep the pace, and i have a book leg vid somewhere and on “one” he doen’t really do any double kick which for that song was lame!! the lazy fuck

Damn right! A nail has been firmly hit square on the head there, my son!
Imagine waking up the next day as Lars Ulrich…
“I missed a huge outdoor gig yesterday…so, I guess we cancelled then, huh…? WHAT?! Two of the greatest rock drummers of all time took my place..?!?!?! Oh SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!!!”

Saw them 12 times and only disappointed me once, back in 97 during their awful Load/Reload period where they managed to not play 1 song from Kill ‘Em All :(
And I agree they should work on their setlist to have a bit more variation.

That said, I’ve only seen Babyshambles and Oasis live on TV, and whilst neither impressed me too much, the only entertainment I got out of Babyshambles was finding them hilarious.

I saw oasis in the CIA in Cardiff and they were really loud and spot on - really good.
Also saw Green Day the same year - now THAT was a good gig !!!!
