help with a single i bought

i got the ‘nowhere’ single at a cd fair but when i opened it, it said ‘promo only, not for sale’ across the cd! does this mean it shouldn’t have been sold to me or is it fake or what?

MFGeorge—the one I have has Screamager and Nowhere on it. I bought it across the street from Sam (they’re bankrupt?) at Sunrise on Yonge. Probably about $5 or so after the exchange rate.

as for Sam the Record Man, yep, they are going under… wouldn’t know it right now as it’s still operating, but it will most likely close after the holidays… they are millions of dollars in debt… i can’t believe those huge spinning discs will no longer be anymore… (watched ‘half baked’ and you will see them in the background when guy is feeding horse… they are a toronto landmark, of some sorts…)
