Matador records have booked time in a New York studio according to an Interpol forum, maybe a new one from Interpol then?

I’m looking forward to the new Therapy? and Iron Maiden stuff (can’t wait for their Death on the Road DVD). I’ve not heard much recent Slayer, but should be good now that Dave has rejoined.

Its not that I’m off them, but the Chilli Peppers don’t seem to appeal at the moment (By The Way was okay, but nothing like Californication). Mastadon’s last album was pretty good, though I don’t play it that often (I know I should).

Other than that, I’ll just wait to see what comes out, and buy whatever there and then.

Yep looking at their website it seems money time again:

“IRON MAIDEN have now confirmed the release date of their much anticipated DVD release DEATH ON THE ROAD for 6th February 2006 through EMI Records. This will initially be available as a limited edition special digipack”

The new album of Metallica should be out at the end of the year, in December normally. I’m also looking forward to some new material from Tool.

And if green Day get lost for a while it would be great too! I’m bored of hearing them all the time now.

I think they said that the follow up to the enormously successful and really rather good American Idiot would take some time.

Will the new Muse one be out this year? We can only hope.

Think The Killers should stop being lazy and write some new tunes.

New Evanescence hopefully this year too.

Hope that doesn’t make me sound like a 14 year old girl.

Am taking Therapy? as too obvious to need stating.

No, The Who is a different band altogether - don’t know if they’ve got a new one and probably wouldn’t buy it if they did.

:o I love American Idiot - but I don’t think its their best

album - I think Nimrod is.

I think they sound more like that now…

Nimrod was pretty good, definitly one of their best. I like Insomniac the best, though. Best pop-punk album ever, in my opinion. Not a big Dookie fan… Warning had it’s moments. 1039 Smoothed Out Slappy Hours is good and Kerplunk are for what they are.

The thing that really gets me is how much worse they are live now. The shows used to be really good, tons of energy and gave the ban a chance to shine. I can’t watch them live anymore… and Billy Joe keeps hitting wrong notes all over the show, far more than he ever did before, hence my ‘they’re all on coke’ theory.

Have to agree a new Muse album would be great!

I read an interview with The Killers’s’s’s’s’s’ drummer the other week and apparently thats what they’re up to at the moment - and I don’t mean being lazy before anyone says it :p :D

Mike Patton should hopefully be releasing his newest collection of madness this year as Peeping Tom, a more “pop” direction or so he says and it should include Dan the automator, Dale Crover plus others and a chance of a guest by Bjork.
