if you guys could give me some info, that’s be cool…

i’ve got various tapes off of magazines from over the years which include various live versions of T? songs. they include a rather cool version of nausea from melody maker, and another with a brilliant version of isolation. are these worth anything?

also, what the hell was on the fanclub cd? i’ve been a T? fan for years but never bothered joining the fanclub, so am a bit in the dark about this.

i’ve got the original wiija cd releases of Babyteeth and pleasure death as well, are these worth more than the reissues?

i’ve got signed drumsticks by fyffe, and a nowhere tour t-shirt and longsleeve teethgrinder shirt all signed by the original trio. these worth anything?

cheers guys.

I’m quite the walking price guide I used to be, but here’s some basic info:

The tapes might be worth something, but it depends on the recording. I’m going to guess that the live version on the tape is probably the same as a b-side or something. If it’s really a previously unreleased recording, that definitely adds to the value.

The Fan Club CD was given out to members in 1996. You used to also be able to write to Therapy? and buy a copy for about $8. I don’t see many of them being traded or for sale, which leads me to believe that they’re fairly rare. I probably wouldn’t sell mine for less than $25 or for a good trade.

I’d personally give you $20-25 for either of those shirts, because they’re both nice shirts. It’s just an added bonus that they’re signed. The drum stick is nice since Fyfe left too. I won’t bother you with all the crap about certificates of authenticity, I’ll just say that I’d pay about $15 for a drum stick like that.

Keep those drum sticks on you, I don’t know if Fyfe used special ones but he was (is? :) a great drummer. Especially if you have a pair, that makes ‘em useful as well ;-) I generally don’t value signatures much if I don’t know the story behind them but getting them yourselves after a great concert is priceless.

By the way, if anyone knows where to get a pair of Shaw sticks Graham Hopkins edition (new ones I mean even though slightly used ones by the man himself would be fine ;), mail me whaley@mondopaddy.com!
