THERAPY? in the USA

Started by theecount

I’m sure it’s been asked b4 but when the hell are you guys gonna get back to the Sates. I last remember a show in the Los Angeles area close to 10 years ago, when you opened for Girls Vs. Boys at the Roxy. I was there it was awesome. You may have played a few dates since then but not in LA…pleaaaaase…you have fans here. Even if you just play the bigger cities. If goddamn Norwegian Black metal bands can play here…then Therapy? can to!

I’ve read Andy’s statements and its understandable. If the interest isn’t there, how the hell can the band go over there? This isn’t a question of fanbase but the agents and record company bollocks of it all.

Perhaps because the cold spell that most of us went through might have something to do with it (well, their profile did drop quite a bit), perhaps they shouldn’t have spent the year they were there, but T? are human beings themselves and make mistakes.

Don’t think its just in the UK where their profile dropped - in the statement, Andy said that France had forgotten them.

Its a long complicated matter, but unless they repackaged themselves as a metal boy band, I doubt that they’ll be playing every stadium that the world has to offer…and I’m not saying that as a put down.

Coming to think about, other than the UK, where else do they have a fair size following?

It’s not too bad in Ireland either ( esp up north but that’s hardly surprising ). I’d say that they are only ‘world famous’ in Belgium and The Netherlands.

That sucks! I don’t know who’s fault it is but T? should be playing all over the World, not large clubs in England and small ones in Amsterdam as a World tour. The fans are there, they just can’t get to see ‘em. How frustrating must that be…

Oh yes!! Hopefully (fingers and toes crossed) T? might get to Barcelona as I’ll most likely not be able to go back to Ireland this time round for a gig. I’m not getting my hopes up though, as they haven’t been for many a tour.

I’m not crossing my fingers for them to come to the States unless this next album breaks big over here.N A N E wasn’t even released over here and the next may not even make it either. If they could get on as support for a bigger band that tours over here then it would help but who could thay tour with?
