I have even found a photo from the night.

Cool - maybe Josh has realised that Queens are starting to sound a bit shagged and a Kyuss reunion would be one hell of a cash cow.

Or maybe he’s realised that Queens suck without Nick!

Well John did play a gig with Nick the week before, but i would guess that scott reeder would play bass if they did reform.

I respect your cynicism :)

Would it really be that much of a cash cow? Id say more money would be made if he just joined the Queens on stage. This whole reforming bands when you have moved on career-wise is beyond me.

I think the Queens are in a bit of a rut at the moment - the last album really lacked Nick and the last tour was panned in the press. With QOTSA’s popularity they could re-issue the back catalogue on the back of a Kyuss reunion tour. I think it would pay the rent for a few weeks…

I have been playing there last album a lot more rescently and i do like it but i do feel it is lacking something which probably is nick as the song writing is a lot more one sided in style and Nicks screaming vocals used to be an adrenalin shot to albums. This could be the same live on this last tour they were still good but it wasn’t so unpredictable and nicks input live was a big part of there charm. But maybe the pressure of doing an album without him was a lot and the next one could be better.

Nice bill! Motörhead should be the headline but it´s true that most of the youngsters (or the “new” audience) know only the the Foo or the QOTSA bands, what a shame…good bands both , though.
Hyde park, a nice place for a concert: was there last summer just before the MH 30th anniversary gig at Hammersmith and we took there a couple of beers before jumping into the bus:)
I could almost feel then the atmosphere of people watching the Stones or Peppers years ago…
Nice park, better than the Sorsapuisto here in Tampere
