I think it’s so great that people in Europe love the Tea Party. As I’m sure that Matt can attest, it’s good to see a Canadian band that never made it big in the US have a good following in Europe.

The Tea Party are probably the only band I know that have yet to release an album that I didn’t think was great. They always put on an amazing live show, they’re nice guys in person, and their CDs rock! Jeff Martin is a great guitar player and I just can’t say enough good things about them. I’m very happy that you folks in Europe support the Tea Party!

Hey Brendon! When I first heard TTP back in 1995 ( The Bazaar) I was sold immediately! Ever since I have been following their music and I agree, they haven’t yet made an album which dissapointed me! And yes, especially their live performance is so great! I always try to get other people to listen to them and the ones who listened to their music practically always liked it…funny thing, two of my favorite band have the same letters…unfortunately somebody stole my ltd edition of Triptych and I can’t find it in the shops any more…

Cu in Nighttowm than Opal Mantra!

I never heard anything from the Tea Party. I just asked for an album for my birthday, just because I read they were good. I got ‘Splendor Solis’ and it rocked big time!
Oh, I think I saw a TRIPtych tour edtion somewhere in the shop. But its still 45 guilders…or try Ebay. That 2cd is very, very pretty.
My Favorite songs: Psychopomp, Raven Skies, Majystic Song, Correspondences, Drawing Down The Moon, Temptation, Lullaby, Mantra, Halcyon Days…oh fuck…the list is endless ;-)
Oh, System Of A Down sold out? Fuck…are they soooo popular now?

as Brendon says, it is nice to hear that a Canadian band is doing so well elsewhere, as most don’t make it out of the country (except Barenaked Ladies & Alanis Morissette for some reason)

i know you’re all going to kill me for saying this though, but for myself personally, I’m not the biggest fan of the Tea Party… I think their music is good, and very original, but I hear them on the radio about 3 times a day, everyday, so it gets kind of tiresome… i believe i own only 3 of their cd’s (1 being the greatest hits, so it doesn’t count so much)… if i didn’t hear them everyday for the 5 or so years i’d most likely like them much more…

ha… actually i don’t listen to the radio that much because of this (for all bands)… but when i do turn it on, 9 times out of 10 i’ll hear the tea party within the hour… (or creed, or nickelback, or whatever crap is popular at the moment…)
