T? sales figures?

#

Started by Billy Blue

Does anyone know what sort of sales figures T? have got from their albums?

I’m doing a bit of research but don’t really know where to look. I’m particularly interested in the difference in sales of Troublegum and NANE. Seem to remember 500,000 being a figure for Troublegum and Infernal Love being similar.

Anyone know?

I believe 500k was the total for Troublegum around 1995 time. With Infernal Love coming out, sales of Troublegum increased again.

Last I heard Troublegum had done about 900k, and Infernal Love about 500k. Nurse sold 55k when it came out, I remember. But again, sales of that album increased in 94/95.

Basically, I’ve no idea, sorry.

Sounds roughly around what I’d thought. But if anyone knows where I could find out any more info that would be useful.

He probably means that the lads are not filthy, filthy rich.

At least I never saw Andy by Cribs (probably the only MTV program I have ever watched more than once, since the statation came back on here in the Netherlands).

Its just for a piece of university work I’m doing. I’m quite surprised there isn’t some kind of data base that shows unit sales, that is available to the public. Its not that important though, just minor detail.

We should petition to get Therapy? on Cribs. I’m bored of rappers and footballers whose houses all look the same.

The rockstars houses are always more interesting (Twiggy Ramirez, Dave Navarro, etc).

You can say that again. He has put a few pounds on lately.
Maybe if they done more gigs he’d lose a few stone.

And as for T? in Cribs that would be entertaining, “now step this way and follow me to the box room, ok, thats it hence the name, now if we go down stairs you’ll see my brother making some toast”.

“Now step outside till i show you my wheels, thats them over there just the wheels, my car was stolen 3 weeks ago”

ah poor T?. WHO GIVES A F#CK if T? have no money.
When will they understand that all this time they are spending in the studio will be wasted when everyone just burns, copies, borrows, downloads their music for free anyhow. The big bucks are made from “TOURING”.

Just ask Paul McCartney, Rolling Stones, U2, Greenday, Elton John and f#ckin Eagles.
They all earned at least 50million last year from Touring alone. Greenday actually earned 99Million which 33 million was from album sales and 66 million from touring.

Don’t T? have enough albums recorded to keep touring or will they always be support to the likes of Metallica.
Supports not good enough.

Lets stop looking for an easy ride T?
Start touring!!!!!!!!!!

Im not normally a nasty person but shut the f#ck (as you put it) up.

t? amke great music have a legendary status and deserve to make some money off it, if you worked in an office as a cleaner and got promoted to a manager you wouldnt be labeled a seel out so why do people complain when bands start making money, A show on a tour lasts one night a cd lasts forever, and i’d prefer to t? to never tour again than never realses an album. If my band was offered a support slot for metallica i’d be chuffed to take it, supporting a band that sell millions of albums and are well known worldwide is an honour even if they are total twats.

and t? are touring soon there startin in netherlands with two warm up gigs, and london guitar show, so stop compaining, if americans are such big fans they’ll fly to wherever t? are touring to see them.

They tour a lot more than some bands I would care to mention and in small enough venues in strange enough places.

No no no no… that is all wrong.

You are meant to become even more belligerent and cocky and spout things like:

“Yeah!?! but they still don’t fucking tour enough!” or
“Your mom is a skank” and the ever popular “You guys are so gay!”.

You’ll never start a decent flame-war if you are willing to listen to reason and admit to proven facts at the drop of a hat like that. 3/10

i think 3/10 is a little harsh, there was some cracking blind fury going on, i think he deserves a 5/10. But must try harder.
