New Nine Inch Nails came out of a gorilla’s snatch!

It’s crap, the melodies are shit if any and Trent’s vocals are tiringly embarassing! Maybe some of the drumming is cool but that’s thanks to the now legendary Dave Grohl.
Oh, and the new NIN line if going by the musicianship on the new album is garbage. I miss Danny Lohner and the old bassist and Chris Vrenna, now that was the best.
Now Trent is sitting in a studio somewhere trying to come up with guitar riffs when he can hardly play. Nine Inch Nails are stuffed. Maybe if Trent takes some drugs again he’ll be ale to release an album with the same honesty and power as Pretty Hate Machine.
:(

Having lived with the album for almost a year, it’s clear that With_Teeth is just below average, 3 out of 10. FACT.

I mean, anything NIN produced after the fragile would be better!

Yeah, I wasn’t bowled over by With_Teeth, although it had some strong moments, but it’s definitely better than The Fragile, which is still about three times too long for its own good. I want Trent to kick me in the teeth or soothe me with melody, not bore me to death with endless drumloops and whispering.

I like the use of real instruments on with teeth, its great! And with Grohl on sticks , it makes it even better!

The Fragile is just badly sequenced and contains filler. The great songs on there shit all over the mid-life crisis disc that is with_teeth.

I fuckin love with teeth and downward spiral. But i got some cd from a dodgy shop that might be fake, it looks real though and says it came out in 2005, but fuckin hell! i nearly cried it was so shit, it had the same song on it a few times just remixed and a load of banging.

Whats it called? They normally release a remix album for each proper studio album but I read that they weren’t bothering this time, so it sounds like its a bootleg.

I think with_teeth was one of the best albums of last year.

It might be slightly more accessible than all the other NIN albums, but so what? I think people get too obsessed with stuff that is hard to get into, that is more abbrasive and challenging. While that can be awesome (Tool, Helmet, Fugazi etc) its also good to have some easier stuff too.

Err, I don’t think anyone said it was shit because it’s accessible…

Yeah if anyhting it’s very unpop indeed, because there are hardly any catchy songs on the album and that sucks. If you want catchy check out Troublegum! ;)

After The Hand That Feeds, I was expecting it to be more like that - a Pretty Hate Machine II, if you will. It was far less accessible than I was hoping in the end.
