Rain Hits Concrete

#

Started by Duca

Just heard Rain hits concrete on Studio Brussel, it wasn’t bad at all. But I think I prefer Sprung. Well I just heard it once now but it sounds good.

I’ve just heard Andy on dutch radio (3fm) in a little promotional interview for the JD Rock nights, with the singers of the other bands also on the telephone. The presenter asked Andy if he would have come if it was organised by a tea company, and he replied “Ofcourse!”. Lots of talk about Rock and what the best line was that Andy has ever written :)

They played Rain hits Concrete, which made me realise that it’s rare that they play a newer T? song on the radio.
Nice to hear a new song, on the radio, in the afternoon…

Love, Meta

I used the “listen again” option on the website… I couldn’t stop myself from listening… and I already regret it :(
The quality wasn’t that great… but, I really like this song apart from the chorus… didn’t like if that so much.

I heard it with a poor quality sound, but nevertheless i found it pleasant specially the chorus.

Thus what do you dislike in this track!

For me maybe guitars on the verse sound a little bit quaint

They must have changed it up. This file was Foo Fighters, POD and Busta Rhymes (I think)

No it’s there about 3/4 of the way through.
It’s more commercial than the last albums stuff..I like the song..the chorus is a bit weak compared to others by them but i can see why it’s a single.

Indeed, I also think that the chorus is a little bit weak, to compare this with rise up or die like a motherfucker, those are heavy

So listening to the whole show just to hear one Therapy? song is ok - but me recording the song from the radio broadcast and cutting the song out and offering to send it to people that way is wrong ?

Ahh I finally found it. It’s kinda short.
Cool tune. After hearing two of the songs now it seems they’ve decided to mix it up again. Which is cool in my opinion. I was getting a little tired of the uber-chrunch songs. They tended to blend together at times.
On this song, some of the drum fills remind me a little of Rise Up.

Is it me or does it seem that Spitfire is putting a little more push behind this release than NANE? These new songs seem a little more “accessable”, so maybe that’s it.

Yes.

We made it clear when Sprung appeared on the JD promo that it was not okay with us to spread it as an MP3 and that applies equally to Rain Hits Concrete.
