Although i understand the bands concern on the record’s sales i do not think that a single fan’s opinion posted on their message board could influence album sales. I do not visit WOM too often but i do believe that its a society of bands admirers and these people will buy the new record no matter what. These people are with you already, guys. Some of them for years.

That thread was nothing but a sign of anticipation of an upcoming album and nothing but that. Dont you punish us with posts like that Teethgrinder/Andy.

You cannot put the record infront of a fan and expect him/her just to look at it for a whole freaking month. That leak to the web is label’s fault. Not our’s.

Dont worry, guys. We are not hanging around here only to download in time another masterpiece of yours. We are consumers. We are with you till the end. And we sure realize what huge ammount of work you are doing. WE ARE SUPPORTERS.

And i see nothing wrong with the fact that we got to listen to your new record a bit earlier. We gonna buy it anyway.

Every time theres someone telling me that downloading is bad i’m just turning on. You still fail to explain me how wrong it is.

No mate, i’m not saying downloadings a bad thing. :) I personally don’t do it cos i don’t spend that much time in front of a computer outside of work, and would just rather buy something. If i’m gonna hear it anyway theres no point in me downloading it as well, it makes no sense.

All i’m saying is that if folk are gonna download it then thats up to them, cos its a common practice, but whether its right or wrong is down to the artists opinion. Its their work thats being obtained for free after all.

Title: One Of The Best

One of the best Therapy CD’s ever. It kind of takes a little from every album and seems to mesh with their growth as a band, now as a 3 piece, and still manages to call back to the days of their inception.

Right now the entire album is a hot spot for me. Deluded Son is already on regular rotation. But the more I listen, the more I realize that there is much, much more going on with the production, the song writing, and the vocals/lyrics for sure. Top notch. How many bands can you name that deliver every time, all the time.

This is one of their best. My favs to compare to are Suicide Pact - You First, Semi-Detached, and Infernal Love.

I saw a video of them on MTV two weeks before I saw one of Nirvana’s last concerts in Buffalo NY in the US. Yes, they did play Therapy videos here for awhile. I went out and purchased everything that I could find with their stamp on it. I did play the fool when the played in PA. One of the last times I knew T? played in the US. Decided not to make the 6 hour drive because I just figured they would be back to rock out again. They were supporting Henry Rollings at the time and I think Helmet was on the bill. My friend saw it and he didn’t even know who they were. So, I talk to him no more. If I had the money, I would travel overseas to catch them rock you lucky bastards.

Rock on. The new album kicks major ass.

I’m very unhappy to participate to this strained situation and I understand that the band did not appreciate it.

I did not download OCFA, but, with impatience, I just wanted to know opinion of people who have the chance to listen to it.

For conclude,I want to say that, like many people here I am really a fan of therapy? and of course i’ll buy OCFA. I support the band since more than decade and I respect deeply therapy?

With OCFA, I hope that the band will be estimated at his true value in my country (france).

In a completely unrelated point, who decides on the date the album is released?

I uderstand that before an album is released, the band need to sell the arse off it to radio stations, press etc… (and I would assume this is pretty hard going) the album needs to be produced and shipped to shops and the sort.

But its been recorded & mixed for weeks and the record hits shops very close to some big releases (as Andy says, Tool, Ministry, Satyricon, Pearl Jam) and Killing Joke, Morrissey, Lacuna Coil, Rob Zombie, Deftones all release albums very close to OCFA

I’m not critisising anyone, but its damn unfortunate timing and you would think it was in the labels and the bands interest to get this into shops before the other records, no?

The reason why I dont download or buy a promo copy of a new Therapy? record is: I love the suspension, I love to get on my pushbike to drive like an Alonso to my local recordstore and buy it, to drive even faster back home and once there I’ll be having difficulties opening my front door because my hands would be shaking out of excitement. Once it is opened I’d be lucky not to fall over since I try to get to my CD-player as fast as I can skipping as many steps as I am able( unable) to. I will fetch myself a nice Heineken( yes, even if I buy it in the morning) and start the record. I’ll be smelling the sleeve, reading the booklet and enjoy the new record…It’s like getting layed for the first time: You are dead curious, you think it must be very nice, but still don’t know what it’s like!

I guess they should sign a recordeal at Virgin;)

Now does this make me a saint? Nope, cause I do download, but if I like it and if my wallet allows so I’ll buy the stuff!
