Support Acts

So what did everyone think of the support bands on this tour? I think Nerve pretty much sucked but Defenestration were really good. They ‘re much better than many well known nu metal bands.

Defenestration was one of the worst bands I’ve ever heard! I mean, it was pretty interesting to learn that a woman is able to produce such screams. The instruments were quite good but summed up, Defenestration sucked! Thank God, I missed them in Salzburg and they didn’t play Stuttgart…

I only went to 2 gigs, so I couldn’t see that many support bands. Defenastration will never be my fav band, that’s for sure. But I definately appreciated One In A Million, the support band in Tilburg. I’ve seen them at a hardcore ‘festival’ before their gig in Tilburg too, and I must say they are pretty good. I have both demo cd’s of them (as far as I know, they don’t have a full length cd yet), and I love them! It’s not really hardcore or punk, it’s a bit pop-punk, kinda like the new Undeclinable.

Well, I have three full-lenght albums of them, Their Greatest Adventures, One For The Money, and Sound City Burning. Their Greatest Adventures and One For The Money are straight punk albums, loud, fast, you know it. Sound City Burning has somewhat more melody, in general, the songs are more ‘poppy’. I really love it, as I said earlier, it’s my fav album of last year. Try and download ‘Whatever’, the first song of the album, it’s brilliant…

Cheers,

you know their song ‘Sandwich’? It’s the b-side of ‘Trapped’ or ‘Walking on Air’, ca’t remember. Brilliant tune, should’ve been on One For The Money.

i liked defenestration a lot… sorry, stefan :-)
this kind of music was - at the beginning - quite strange and i had to get used to it, but anyway … in the end i liked it.
the guys of d. and of course jen are also very nice lads!!
i liked the support in stuttgart as well ( i don’t know their name, but they had naked girls on their setlists :-) ).
cheers!!
