C’mon when was the last time you went, have any nasty experiences? ;)

Can’t say I’ve known any ‘teethgrinders’ in my time :D

I once had to have a filling. They gave me the anaesthetic. Sent me out for ten minutes for it to take effect. It didn’t. They tried another. Neither did that. Nor the next three attempts. After that they couldn’t do any more as it would be dangerous. Got home and it took effect - suddenly off my face on anaesthetic. Spent most of the time giggling and falling over.

Other than that, not much to tell…

I am an actual teethgrinder. It’s called bruxism :) My teeth are worn down because of it!

Anaesthetics are horrible - when I have to have fillings I do it without. The needle for the anaesthetic is way more painful than having a filling.

I have a neat way around getting anaesthetic at the dentist: I look after my teeth. :p

Having said that, I could do with havingthem ripped out and start again… :(

 OMG…are you insane???…last time I got a filling I asked for a 2nd injection cos I could still feel it…my dentist is great..I barely even feel the needle!

saying that though my mum is the same as you…I think she may even have had a tooth pulled out with out anesthetic…and it was a tooth that didn;t need to come out, just needed space cos she decided to get traintracks to get her teeth straightened out..

Funny you should mention that because I get my wisdom teeth cut out next months. That’s right, CUT out. They might even have to saw into my jawbone. I better not think about it too much.

Hadn’t gone for over 12 years or more til last month.

Had 3 fillings and a good scrape and polish.

Wasn’t so bad, glad I finally went.

My other half’s dad is a dentist - really ought to get around to seeing him professionally rather than just going to his house, eating his food and drinking his whisky.

Gave hin a copy of the re-recording verison of Teethgrinder years ago, think he thought it was funny.

My dentist once presented me with a “Best Tooth Brusher In The World”-certificate. It graced my room for years until a Therapy? poster replaced it.

Haven’t got a single filling and I’m going to be 26 at the end of May. I always get compliments from my dentist about how wonderful my teeth are :)

My addiction to coffee turns them yellow though :(

I’ve got a few fillings. I almost got kicked off the NHS register too. I got a letter in the other day saying I hadn’t been for almost 15 months, and therefore would have to go provate if I didn’t make another appointment.

I was straight on the phone after that, I’ve got a check-up later this month. :D

Try snorting it in future, I’m told that helps.

I had loads of fillings in my baby teeth, and none in my adult ones.

I’m surprised they bothered, knowing the teeth would come out anyway.
