Question!

The above title is because I love SOAD. But I’m digressing, and it isn’t good to digress before you’ve actually said anything.

My question - before I forget what the hell I’m talking about (the grapes are getting to me) is -

Have any positive and / or negative reviews influenced your decision to buy OCFA?

Zorn.

To be honest, 30 Seconds’ review was so confusing it just heightened my anticipation for the album, as I have no idea what it’ll sound like now. That and the ‘lots of major chords’ in the closer which, lyrically, looks pretty epic, so yeah. Can’t wait.

Bloody well said. I agree with you 100%.

Can’t wait to rock some more to some new T? tunes…

No matter how many negative reviews still appear, the do not influence me… if you see how many people dislike Shameless, I love it. So that’s absolutely no garanty… this is al about musical taste.
Though reading 30 seconds’ review made me feel bad at first, but I never believed a single word of it :p

I am going to buy any new T? album no matter what. Even if they did a psychadelic jazz tribute album to Tina Turner. So no.

Well I pre-ordered it the other week, so nothing is stopping me from getting this album. Especially after hearing “Sprung”. What a fucking tune.

i really hope the leaked version is not the final MIX. The drums are so quiet, its annoying. the guitars drown almost everything out. All you can hear is an occasainal snare tap.

Squall what were you listening to the song with??

Headphones?

Speakers?

Cos the mix sounded pretty good to me, maybe the snare is a bit quiet and the hi-hats a bit loud, but much the same as some of their previous albums.

Although it has been mixed clearly with guitars at the forefront.

Although I always listen to everything through headphones…

Joe.

Deluded Son has barely audible drums.

Well, all I can remember is that the leaked versions of the 3 NANE tracks prior to its release were in crap quality and I was dreading the album - god was I wrong. Therefore I am not going to form an opinion until it is blasting out of my speakers while I am enjoying a Guinness :) Love both of the new songs (Rain hits concrete rocked despite the shite quality!).

I have a feeling that they are even going to top NANE with this one - tracks have kind of a Nurse feel to them
