Like Andy stated, they themselves have had to bring their own finances into making the album, and I’m guessing that because the record company aren’t willing to spend that much money on T? unless they see some sort of large profit margin coming from them.
It’s a shame, but good to see that the guy’s are so determined to get their stuff out there, they’re using their own pockets to do so. (I’d rather they didn’t have to spend anything, but considering the current music market…)

I’m going to buy it. Got myself an iTunes account only for that. Although would prefer CD format for sure. Sad that by the time i became able to buy via internet T? arent releasing any CD singles/ep’s…
As for the price, all songs in finnish department of iTunes cost 99 cents. Eurocents that is. And if i remember right the bitrate of their mp3s is 192 kbs. Good enough.

RHC was played half an hour ago on finnish radio, YLE-X. It was nice to hear T? on fin radio as they really don´t paly them that much these days, which is sad:(.
Troublegum was mentioned once again as their breakthrough in -94. That DJ mentioned also that the RHC single contains those three extra tracks but he didn´t mention anything about the download so if you didn´t know about the download, you could belive that it´s a proper cdsingle release.

Well, the leaked tracks for NANE sounded absolute crap back then as well and I was dreading the album to be honest, but once I had it in my CD player and listened to the actual mix - it rocked!
That is why I will no longer form an opinion until I hear the downloads for myself. This album is gonna slay IMO :D

Like most people here i’d much prefer it if the new EP was on CD but thats sadly never going to happen.I might buy the new EP it just depends on the payment methods i don’t have a credit card but if any of the download sites take switch or paypal i’ll probably get it.
Got the polar bear one from pinacle using paypal so shouldn’t be a bother.
I’m also voting in the wish it was a real CD camp, but digitl will have to do (miss the full quality of uncompressed CD) - Anyone know if any of the sites will be selling as wav or 320kbps mp3s?

So guys I’m sorry, really wanted to support you.
Is there any chance that a limited number of copies will be produced for selling at the forthcoming gigs?

Am I right in thinking that a download single only contributes to the charts if a physical version also exists?
Yes but the download can be released a week earlier and can chart on the basis of download only sales, provided that the physical release follows the following week.
There was something on Newsround about it I think, last week’s number one was released online only then came out a week later.
Either way RHC is ineligable for a chart position as you can only have 3 tracks now I believe and as an EP I think this has 4.

In terms of will I buy it - Yes, because I want to hear the tracks and I pay £10 a month to Napster for this privelige and I don’t relly understand what benefit I get from it to be honest.
To echo the theme of the thread - I’d rather have a CD in my hand, but in this brave new world that’s not possible sadly

Forgive me if this has been posted elsewhere, but I didn’t find it by searching the forums…
Does anyone know how Rain Hits Concrete fared in the download singles chart? I noticed it wasn’t in the top 30 or 40 that I found on the net — is there a top 100 somewhere?
Also, are only those downloads identified as being performed in the UK count for the singles chart, or is it a global chart?

I bought the download, then had the very kind Tubthumper send me the tracks on cd. The colour artwork is now housed in a flat clear plastic wallet and looks rather fetching.
Of course I’d rather a real cd, but I’m pretty happy with the download now. It looks cool in the wallet (the rear artwork had no spines so it wouldn’t go in a regular case, but I think it looks better in the wallet).
Alex, as for sales - no idea man.

Yeah, I got that artwork printed too and it looks quit nice indeed. Have to be happy with this as we´re not getting a real cds this time or ever from now on:(
Crazy Cocaine Eyes is my favourite and then Play On.

I think the artwork is very important. That’s the reason why I didn’t download the Rock You Monkeys single (with the live version of Die Laughing). Without artwork, it’s pretty pointless to me - I’m old fashioned too, I like to have something in my hands to look at.

Same here - I didn’t bother with the Rock You Monkeys, but should artwork be posted (and I know there is a cover) I would gladly purchase.
I have been hunting for the promo for ages
