Well, I’ve finally downloaded it and burnt it to cd. Only played it once so far, but i was grinning through that play, so I think it’s a good sign. :) Crazy Cocaine eyes is my current favourite. It’s got a really highly strung sound to it, I think. Late nights, flourescent lights and too many… additives. ;)
Play on was my least favourite, I think, but I’m not sure why. It just seems to be missing something. :s Maybe another take would have nailed it better? Oh, I don’t know. Anyway, I feel more hyped for OCFA, now. :D

About the EP.. I love them all! I’ve been playing it now for three days on repeat at work and it just keeps getting better and better..
My fav currently is the ‘spooky’ intro on Play on.. Can’t help it, it gives me shivers everytime.
Nice work m8s!

I’m not sure, but I thought whilst listening to the Paradiso gig yesterday on Fabchannel that the intro for “Play On” came in between two of the songs.
I can’t remember which two, but the lights went down, and the Red Gemil began to flash.
Am I correct?

I just took another look, you’re right.
I worked out that it was between Teethgrinder and Sprung. It sounded similar to the Play On intro, but I don’t think it was it. Or maybe it was an extended version…
Anyway, it was about 31mins in if you want to have a listen.
Oh, and you’re EP should be on it’s way now Alan. :)

I’m not overly keen to be honest. That riff has been done FAR too many times now by every band you can think of. Shame, i loved Sprung.

Yes, you’re wrong wrong wrong. :p
It probably wouldn’t hurt for it to have more lyrics, but I don’t think it needs them, really. Mind you, it’s got a kind of Nurse vibe to it, so I could see it having some teethgrinder-style mumblings…
Another reason for it NOT to have more lyrics. ;)

Is kind of a dilemma - wait to hear it all on the 24th, or sneak a listen on the net.
Have listened to 4 songs off the new album so far and think they are all great (gonna be quite a mixed bag of tunes from the sound of it - just how I like it).
Although I am dying to hear it all, it would kind of kill the excitement of bursting into the livingroom after having bought it, ripping open a beer and hearing it blast through my stereo for the first time.
Suspense is killing me, but I will hang on ;)

Been back to back playing the ep today, Rain Hits Concrete is great especially the “fucking disgrace” line.
I love Crazy Cocaine Eyes, the crazy wiry nursey guitars are brilliant and it doesn’t matter about the lack of words.
Play on is cool, another slow ROCK! devils horns and gentle headbang moment like Dopaine, Seratonin, Adrenaline and almost sounds like the fans hymn to Therapy?
Can’t say I’m too struck with Hard Work and Hope. I think the other three blinders probably blow it out of the water on here.
