More Acoustic Therapy?

#

Started by bulletsponge

Just wondering if anyone knows if there are any other ‘acoustic’ tracks put out by our beloved Therapy? I have the Diane Cd-Maxi with the three acoustic tracks (Misery, Screamager, etc.), but are there other acoustic takes on Therapy’s songs out there? Any info on acoustic Therapy would be much appreciated. You can respond here or contact me at msamora@onebox.com. Thanks.

Hi. I really like acoustic versions of T?-songs.
There is a second Diane-Cd with 3 more acoustic tracks on it (Jude the obscene, Loose and 30 seconds). And I know that there is existing an acousting version of Totally Random Man and Diane, but I don’t know on which sound carrier these tracks do appear…
It seems that there has also been an acoustic gig in the past, and there are some bootlegs around.
Does anyone could make me a CD-copy of one of this gig? Or do you have an original of it and would like to trade it?

there are acoustic versions from
Die Laughing, Misery and Screamager on the Diane pt.1 - single
30 Seconds, Jude The Obscene, Loose on the Diane pt.2 - single
Disgracelands, Diane, Opal Mantra on the Bad Mother single

and there’s an early acoustic version from Bowels Of Love on a 10’ called The King And I (‘A very special date with Elvis’) on which therapy? is called mondo paddy?.. That’s it i think.

I don’t think there’s an acoustic version of Totally Random Man.

And so far, i believe the guys only did 2 acoustic gigs; one in Belgium and one in Holland. (thanks to Ronald) there is a bootleg of that last one..

cheers

2 in Holland… also one in 1997… but Ronald was not into Therapy? then I think ;-), what I ment to say is that nobody recorded that show as far as I know. It was the same festival called Crossing border and both times the concert was in a church!!!

Well, they played the following songs on the Crossing Border Festival 1999: Unbeliever, Screamager, Die Laughing, Moustache Song, Our Love Must Die, Nowhere, Six Mile Water, Sick Of You, Lonely Cryin’ Only, Diane, Paranoid - Potato Junkie. They played God Kicks as well, but that one wasn’t recorded.

By the way, i know the belgian acoustic gig was recorded on video as well, but i do not know who did that. I haven’t heard of a recording of that gig, but i’m sure there is one..

cheers

In The Hague they started with God Kicks in 1999.
And Andy tried to smash his golden… guitar and when it didn’t break in the end he gave it to somebody (Danny) in the audiance… ran to his dressingroom and then came back out with the suitcase, ‘cause a guitar like that needed it suitcase according to Andy… It sure was a gig to remember!!!

Are you sure?
