Longest Track

#

Started by Zorn

This is really tongue-in-cheek.

Does anyone know the longest T? track?

Zorn.

EDIT: Wait, since track is different from song, Sister.

Blimey, that was quick, and a quite possible contender.

Anyone know of a longer one?

Tim.

Pursue… is about thirteen minutes long on its own, isn’t it? Easily the longest.
Unless it’s the American pressing of Brainsaw we’re talking of. Doesn’t that go on for several years?

I don’t think it does go on for several years, but there are tracks that do.

For instance: ‘Careless Wisper’ by George Michael is regularly used for torture; it goes on forever and is regularly played in Hell. They have one jukebox in Hell - that’s the only track - but they do give you money to listen to it, I understand.

I think it’s only 6 minutes, but it’s kind of monotonous rhythm can make it seem longer, unless you’re in the mood for a sad one, then it’s perfect.

Try “Rust” on HA album. Something like 9 mins long, but having said that, there’s the hidden track. So, I think Rust / Never Ending is their longest track.
Chances are, I’m wrong

whilst i pursue my way unharmed is just a little less thaan 666 seconds as they recorded sounds from a mall for 666 seconds but speeded the track up a bit towards the end…

the song itself (without sister and the pause in between) is 12:47 long to be exact.

it is without a doubt the longest therapy? song ever made…

It also scared the crap out of me the first time I heard it because I didn’t know it was there! I’d been doing some homework (bloody hell I was in year 10!) and hadn’t noticed the music had stopped, after a while this fucked up stuff starts coming through my speakers. But it is indeed a great track.
