You can’t seriously like O’Gara. He’s can only kick when there is no wind. And, in Ireland, there’s always wind :D
It may be.I don’t know about his playing in Ireland,i’m from France, but during the H-cups macthes, when he plays with his province,Munster,he always mades some “miseries” to the French teams, even though these won versus Munster. It’s always a tough game to beat them.
And did you see the match between France and Ireland, last February?Ok,O’Gara and his footkick game was dick during the first half, but during the second half,he was ace!!!!!Off course,he didn’t kick once, only passing game :D

Have you seen Humphreys play for Ulster?
Humph has more experience, he can read the game better than O’Gara, but, with all due respect, Humph is getting old, maybe it is time for O’Gara to take the 10 shirt for Ireland…

yeah,I saw humphreys play twice in Paris when the Ulster played versus my fav’ team (Stade Français-casg Paris).Well, what I saw most from him was “Up and Under”..I agree with you,his footkick is really great.Don’t get upset about what I think about him, maybe there’s a difference of appreciating Rugby between France and Ireland…I don’t know…Here,we like the hands game so…Oh By the way,if O’Driscoll could be naturalized french,it wouldn’t be a bad thing :D

Personally, I don’t like O’Driscoll, he’s an excellent player, but I don’t like him.
He was at Ravenhill (Ulster’s ground) on Boxing Day. He was signing autographs, when me and my best mate asked him for his autograph he walked stright past us. I booed him for that match, and I’ve never liked him since.
O’Driscoll has a good kicking foot too :D

you mean he refused to give you an autograph .Personnally,I’ve never known French Rugby players refused to sign something for me,even the ones I met in the streets by hazard. After the match played and won 2 weeks ago with the leinster versus Toulouse,Brian tried to be discret, avoid the people who wanted an autograph from him(most were french, appreciating his talent) as possible,he even had some kind of bouncers :D for the “3rd half” (don’t know if you’d understand cos’I don’t how to translate it ).that’s what I read.
Are kidding you kidding about his kicking foot?I saw kick several times and I didn’t find it bad at all.He always found good lined out.
Oh you often go to Ravenhill?I know for french teams it’s difficult to win on this ground (My fav’ one has never won there yet) Except’ Biarritz…But you can spit on them I really don’t like them :D .

BTW,nice to talk rugby with someone in here ;)

Yeah, I live on rugby, I never knew anyone on here that likes it…
You play rugby? I’m left wing for my school team. And we’re bloody good, if I do say so myself :D

So, you were prob gonna be a prop? lol
Winger’s a pretty tough fuckin job, lottsa runnin and tacklin, and a lot of getting hurt.
Some of my injuries: Stud in head, resulting in stitches, stud in fnger, still got the scar, lost a tooth, several fist fights, bloody nose, broken finger, sprained wrist, fucked up toe. All that in 4 years…

Yes, not very often though. Have you ever heard of Shane Horgan? Geordan Murphy is a full back, I’ve played there a couple of times. I forget what position Dennis Hickie plays, I think he was a winger, but I tend to play in the same post / position as Shane Horgan

For the height - and weight of him, he can run. When I was at the Ireand v. Italy match. the Italian player had the ball in his own 22, Horgan came charging at the Italy player, the Italian ran straight into touch, Horgan is propably the most feared player in the Ireland squad!
