I’m probably gonna do Manchester myself too and would be interested in any meet up.
Anyone going to be heading that way from the Sheffield area for a bit of company on the train?

Hooch it is a piece of piss finding the uni. Come out of Oxford Road station turn right, and stay on that pavement all the way up. BBC Manchester should be on the opposite side of the road as you are walking up. You shoud walk under a massive bridge like thing spanning the road that says Manchester University or something on it, keep walking, if you get to the Academy and you’ve gone to far.
That is assuming you are coming in at Oxford Road. If you are coming in at Victoria, your fucked :p

Title: Pre-Manchester Mayhem
Yup, in anticipation of “One Cure Fits All” arriving this coming Monday, the boys will be hitting a few select ‘nightclubs’ and spinning a few tunes plus giving away some freebies. Friday 21st the lads will be in Jillys Rock World, Manchester and on Saturday 22nd they’ll be up to mischief in the mighty Rock City, Nottingham.
Next weekend they’ll be at the Bunker, Lavery’s in Belfast on Friday 28th and Subculture in Birmingham the following day (Sat 29th)
Come along, hang out and enjoy the noise!
TPY? 2006
NB:these are ‘personal appearances’ so there will be NO live performance on the night.(Unless someone wants to bring a backline/guitars/stage capes etcetcetc)

Just confirmed two ‘acoustic in-stores’ for this weekend. First one is in Carbon(Marlet St inside Urban Outfitters) at 5pm on Friday 21st in Manchester and the 2nd is in the Nottingham Drum Centre(Southwell Rd) on Sat 22nd in Nottingham(surprise surprise)at 2:30pm.
We’ll be doing short sets of songs old and new plus hanging out and signing any stuff that folk want signed…see ye there…TPY?2006
nb:these won’t be full ‘electric’ performances so don’t bother shouting for “Animal Bones”

That’s the beauty of this band: you can phone up work, and say ‘uh, you know, I don’t think I can come in today, I’m not feeling too great. I badly need some therapy.’
And be totally honest. :D

Andy, is the students union where we went after Font, where we forgot to go and watch T? and were late? :D
If so, that suits me fine but will you still come and find us at the station… or draw me a very elaborate map?
Heh, I think it was the year before you were late, last year we met in Font, sat in the downstairs bar of the Acadamy for a bit, then just caught the end of one of the support acts :D
After show gig was pretty funny with everybody losing everybody!
Don’t know if I can make it to the Manc gig, it’s half term here and I’d already promised to take the kids to Spain :( I’m not booking it till next weekend though, so will try my damndest to get a flight out on the Sunday instead! ;) I’ve been waiting for this tour since last year!
Anyone know if you will be able to buy the new album to get sighned this weekend? (Yeah, I know it’s not out until Monday,(I’ve been counting down the days!) but thought I’d ask anyway!):)

Erm, best I can think of is that you plead with your local indie store, who may well have it in the back waiting for Monday’s release. Also Michael said they’d be giving away some promo stuff so maybe you’ll get something else worth signing :)
