Kronenberg 1664 or Stella Artois are favourites,

Heineken Export is good too.

Definately Palm… or Duvel (if you drink 10, you know why it’s called that way)… or Leffe…

But there’s plenty of choice of course: Hoegaerden, Cristal, Verboden Vrucht, Kriek, Lindeman, Kwak, Tuborg,…

since i’m from Canada my choices will be (slightly) different:

Fav Imports: Guinness, Leffe Blond, Duval, Kilkenny, Red Stripe (love the stubby bottle)

Fav Domestics: Keith’s Pale Ale, Sleeman Cream Ale or Steam or Lager (or anything Sleeman really), Labatt Blue, Molson Export

some critics…
for me beer it’s just beer
a commercial beer (like heineken) it’s not an exellent beer, it’s just beer
best beers for me are german beers (well you all, and me too, must admit that german peple do right with cars and beers!!)… good beers are all the munchen beers (i mean augustiner, HB, spaten, lowenbrau, paulaner…), they are GOOD beers…
exellent beers (for my opinion) are: krombacker, ettaler (these two i think are the best beers in the world) and for weissbeer the one called weinstephan (don’t know the spelling)
no offensive: some of you mentioned beers that are really hard for me to drink, like labatt blue… but everione make a different choice…
one beer taste really change if the barman who serve you a beer can draft it the right way…
another thing: ‘bud’ it’s not an american beer, i think in origin it was called budweiser and it’s polish i suppose…
nobody told that: which is the WORST beer? no doubt, CARLSBERG is the WORST non cheap beer…

the original budweiser has been brewed in the czech rep. for centuries, in the town budejovice. making fine full beer. in 1878 an american registered the bud label for his corn based, watery brew. naturally, he took no notice of the czechs demands to return the name. eventualy the americans made an arrogant attempt to buy the brewery, but the czechs refused to sell out. then the americans threatened a court case, which the czechs had no hope of winning, owing to u.s buds deep pockets. the dispute looks set to continue. meantime, the good tasting czech bud goes by the name of budweiser budvar. just a short beer history lesson for you boozehounds ; )

Concerning German beer, I prefer Holsten or Astra (quite cheap stuff).

ok, so it’s not beer, but last night i was drinking a nice mixture. it went a little something like this:
4 shots vodka
4 shots bols blue
2 shots after shock blue
3 cans redbull
mix together, serves around two pints (depending upon accuracy of measures)

me and a friend got thru four pints each before we realised the single problem with it: we now can’t sleep bcos of the red bull. next time we’ll probably try mixing with champagne or somethign equally stupid.

My absolute fav beer is Kilkenny. But I normally drink Amstel or Bavaria in Holland. Actually, the taste only matters for the first two glasses, after that, I never notice a difference in taste. Except double and tripel Belgian beer, you’ll notice the difference! The last time I drink that shit, I had about 6 bottles of different types of doubles and tripels. I got so wasted, I can’t remember the last time I was that drunk!
