get T? back in the top 40!!!

#

Started by Graeme55? (Graeme Williams)

when T? released troublegum they got so big they even gatecrashed the charts. screamager went to no.9 and they supported metallica at ozzfest at korn’s expense.

the last album which made it into the top 40 (just!!) was ‘suicide pact, you first’ they got a ‘comeback’ well underway with albums like high anxiety and NANE, so with all the hype and gr8 reviews coming from most magazines and the attention, i thought it would be great for everyone to get and/or to recommend their new album so they can have another crack at the charts.

give therapy another chance to give them more success, like they had in the mid-90’s get them back in the top 40! give them the respect they deserve!!

I already know plenty of people who haven’t bought a Therapy? album who I’ve convinced to buy OCFA. Do I get a medal now? :)

It would be good to re-live those ol days of Therapy? being back on high, selling the sort of records that should be selling. You can hear the effort in this record and they should be recognised for it - damn it! ;)

After a look at the top 40 I don’t think it’s anything to do with how many CDs you sell anymore.
A record company with influence and hyping stuff up ( MTV ) more like.

A look at today’s top 10 makes me very sad. Any artists with ‘featuring’ in their name should be shot !!!

Do you really have to replace syllables with numbers?

But yeah, they should be rich, although I’m not sure if this is the right album, they should’ve been millionairs after Troublegum.

They replaced Korn in 1998 I believe (ie 5 years after Sceamager was out), and that was in support of Black Sabbath, not Metallica. But that was only coz they were the only band available on one days noticed. They were awesome though, I was there!

They did support Metallica at Monsters of Rock though (was it 1995?), second on the bill above Slayer, Machine Head, COC, Warrior Soul etc. They were the days!!!!

Good idea to bring T? back in the top 40. Here in Holland ( and i quess everywhere) the charts are filled with a lot of ‘things’, but not with music! Electronic R’n B shite everywhere. Time for the real musicians to take over again! Time for Therapy? in the charts!

I don’t think suicide pact did make the top 40 - if you go to everyhit.co.uk it says the last therapy? album to enter the top 40 was semi-detached (released 8 years ago to the month!)

Perhaps we shouldnt even bother bothering the (clever hey) American mags and such because it’s just not worth it for them. We need to focus on the UK.

I got into T? when they were this chart selling band. Bought the albums, some of the singles, watch them get healthy chart placings.

That changed when A&M went under and I don’t think Spitfire (their current label) would have the muscle to get them back into the top 40. I’m sure T? have healthy albums sales worldwide. The Top 40 is a popularity contest these days, even though I’d love to see Andy and the boys get into the Top 10 again.
