Topic of debate:

Did Compo from Last of the Summer Wine drink his tea out of saucer and if so, was it in the style of a cat?

Secondary to this, if it’s true - is the reason for his bizarre behaviour that his face is a really weird shape and he needed the surface area of a saucer in order to be able to drink?

Many thanks.

I don’t normally discuss the great moral and philosophical questions of our era this early in the morning, but I do remember him drinking out of a saucer, whether it was feline or not I’m unable to recall. I don’t think it was due to any physiological reason, I just think he was supposed to look strange.

Have you won the bet now madam?
